Am I doing edge highlighting correctly? Color advice also needed

I'm currently painting this doomsday ark and I'm struggling to think of a metallic color to go with the green I am using that would look good without clashing. Also aside from cleanup does my edge highlighting look okay? Am I doing too much?

No idea what your general paintsceme is but you could try to imitate the hierotek circle box art. So a black armor with some green metalic paint and some white elements. The edge highlights look good dude, donˋt stress it :)

Currently it's just incubi darkness(Citadel)/hydra green(TTC) and Sybarite Green(citadel)/Ghoul green(TTC), so the model itself is already fairly green albeit darker

I mean I still think white would be a good accent color. But if your model is pretty green some gold would look neat too. Maybe an antique jade jewelry look?
