Got a chungus to paint? Bring it on.

Extra Rules for this PAL - Model must be 100mm or taller from base to top of the head OR 100 mm or wider from side to side with the exclusion of tail, weapons, or non-main areas of the model.

If you have questions, tag a Mod or ask in the chat.

STANDARD HOUSEKEEPING RULES :

You may prep your mini, this includes, gap fill, assemble, purchase and prime ahead of time. Paint should only be applied during the time-frame of the PAL.

Anyone can join in on the fun. Just share your mini first and paint within the time frame. Request your points in the point request channel by following the pinned post on how to ask for points.

You can't submit the same mini for multiple PALs or other multiple events. And units minis can't be split among the different PALS if they are identical .

Have fun and be nice to each other. Share some wips and some laughs.

The orange red Gradient is a bit too intense so I’m gonna walk it back a bit and I need to lighten the yellow on the wings a bit.

But I think I’m gonna leave it there for today.

Nah, the idea of the alongs is to encourage painting. Stick with it, I think it's fine as a one-off. Just try to be more mindful in the future 🙂

A couple more pieces glued together, and working more shading on. The big question is always whether to go from red to orange to yellow, or the other way, for weapons/magic/etc with fire creatures, especially if I'm painting them red.

That is a neat model! I like it.

Formally speaking: yes, the model would have counted, but you have to post the unpainted version before you start painting, to be eligible for the bonus points from the along. I could be wrong, but I do not recall seeing the unpainted version before. You can still post in the #request-points channel and get normal points, but you would not get the bonus points from the along.

I always prime the reaper bones. It's 50/50 otherwise on whether the paint will stick, regardless of them saying "you don't need to prime"
