Did you have an particular problems or just looking for general feedback. It helps us if you give some direction on what you're after.

I think it works well as it looks now, but generally you wont fully know until the model is done. If you're trying to make it look like they're suffering from frostbite/cold weather exposure then looking up references can help you a lot there.

Owh yeah my bad.
So i just looked for general feedback.
Some areas to improve in.
I want to push myself to display or even pro level painting skill.

So i will take any feedback i can get to improve.
The model is a fantasy Oni Daimyo.
In general most people paint his skin as red.
I want to make a ice themed version so to achieve this i wanted some magically ice looking skin.
I am rather pleased with the colours i picked out for it.

Now I have done the sock and the rope aswell.

I had time to do another part of the body.
If anyone has some general feedback or critique, it would be much appreciated!

It’s already really good, you’ve got a strong grasp of how the light interacts with the leg’s volumes.

I say this quite humbly, since I wouldn’t be able to do better myself, but maybe it could use a slight touch of pink or purple in the folds of the muscles and skin? Unless the goal was to make it look bloodless, since it’s an icy skin.

So how i did this particular color is by starting out with the midtone which was elfic flesh(Vallejo game color).
This needed a few layers before it became a solid base.

After that i drew some rough shadows with incubi darkness(Citadell) in the area's that don't catch light as well.
Then i basically layer a bunch to go from one color to the other.

The color that is in between midtone and shadow i just mix by combining the two and if its closer to the shadow i put more of that color in and reverse.

Then if a area is really out of my light direction i throw in a bit of black to the shadow color so it darkens a bit more.

And finally i do a few touches of highlight on the areas that catch the most light, but i am very sparse with highlights.

it basically requires some patience and brush controll and i believe most people can do this.

I have a question instead of feedback. Legs and arms look like different colors legs being much more greenish. Is it just the lighting/photo difference?
