Which of these patreons would you choose?

One question, I'm thinking about subscribing to the Patreons of Jose Davinci, Sergio Calvo, or Elminiaturista. Do you recommend any of the three? I think all three are great based on what I've seen on YouTube and Instagram, so I haven't decided on any yet. Thanks!

Hi, I don't know your level or what your goal is with the membership. I only know Da Vinci from his channel, I've never accessed his Patreon. I know El miniaturista even less. What I can say is that I've been subscribing to Calvo's Patreon for over 2 years and I'm very satisfied with it, he has a different painting method, I've increased my painting volume a lot. I feel motivated watching the content. Excuse me for asking, but are you Spanish or is it just a coincidence that there are 3 Spanish painters?

My idea was to subscribe to Jose Davinci's Patreon, but what you said about Sergio Calvo makes me doubt. And regarding your last question, you don't have to apologize. Yes, I am Spanish, hehe, although I have also seen videos from other artists, especially Zumikito.

Yeah, that’s a pretty shitty attitude in general and especially proposing to steal content from creators within our small community is just dumb. Maybe take that stuff elsewhere.

Elminiaturista is a bit of a one trick pony who will teach you the same lazy airbrush OSL over and over. The type of stuff he paints pretty much exclusively looks good in photos.

If you are a beginner, joining Patreons is pretty much a waste in my honest opinion.

You need to practice, not watch videos.

Unless of course you just enjoy watching the content which is entirely fair.

A valuable approach is to practice one specific thing at a time. You rarely get better from just doing, but if you set a goal and focus on a single aspect you will see improvement quickly.

And remember to ask. Lots of people are happy to help and share their knowledge for free.
