So, I was painting a model that has been resin printer, washed, and cured and as I was painting, resin started leaking out from inside from a crack. The print was sitting for a good month or two before I started painting it, so I am not sure exactly what is going on. We ended up throwing it away, but here is another one doing the same thing.

We are using a Anycubic Photon M3 Max with Anycubic standard resin + and I'm priming with rust-oleum primer grey and painting with Citadel paints.

Did you try asking in #3dprinting ?

Looks like uncured resin that was trapped in a hollow area. Are you hollowing your prints and putting drain holes ?

Possibility that uncured resin was trapped in an empty cavity. What slicer are you using? I use Chitubox which now can detect them. You can hollow the print and add drain holes so that way the uncured resin is washed out

Haven’t used that slicer. I have a phrozen sonic mighty and use Chitubox

I would reprint, hollow and add drain holes

You can save the plugs from adding drain holes and use them to plug the holes

Oh, interesting

You can also use uv putty with a uv light to plug the wholes

Oh okay!

#

I will start to do that for now on

Thank you

You can see a couple of the holes on the print, more all over.
