My attempt at the silent, would really appreciate some feedback on what to do better, how to improve and things to work on. I did a full wash in agrax earthshade and I feel like that made the whole mini really dark. Also just struggling with not getting paint from one area onto another and having to go back over things.

To address your specific concerns:
when using a wash, use it earlier in your process and then bring back your base coat colours and highlight from there.
Brush control is a learned skill, the #1 thing you can do for yourself at this stage in the hobby is simply to paint more minis.

Okay so it sounds like I did the right thing, I put all the base layers down first. I think I was just too slow at times to draw it off where it pooled I suppose.
