I could use some help with my airbrush. I am having paint flow issues with my Sotar 20/20. Air is coming out just fine but it’s not propelling paint out and will cause bubbles in the pot. I have had it for 4 years and never had this issue 😩
I have totally disassembled and deep cleaned, checked all the pieces for damage and replaced the needle. I am not sure where to go from here.

have you tried with water only?
Is the compressor pressure somewhere in the 20-30 psi range?
could you post a short video of it?

It's possible there's flakes of paint in your mix. Try it with water first if it works with water filter your paint next time and see if the problem goes away

Does it with plain water. Soaked it and deep cleaned. I think I narrowed it down to a very slight warp in where the nozzle sits causing an air leak.
Solved the problem by buying. An hp-cs and I am honestly glad the sotar kicked the bucked because the new air brush is a much better experience.

Kudos for identifying the cause. Could it be just a needle-nozzle mismatch? (Like a .2 mm nozzle for a .5 mm needle.)
