Any tips for getting to details without ruining the mini? I've tried with a size 2 brush(smallest I have) but I am not feeling satisfied. This is my first mini ever:

Do the innermost details first, that way if you mess up you paint over it anyways
Details look good for a first mini ever. A smaller brush would help for fine details. Also you could consider painting it in pieces before you assemble it.
I agree the details look good enough in my opinion as well for a first ever mini! You have also well painted within the lines, which would have been my first consideration. The one thing I'd mention at this stage is composition: it would help to have more contrast between colours - in this case in particular, the gold (which is more or less an orange) is fairly close to the red and probably doesn't pop as much as you would like because of that? Keep on painting, this is a nice start, and more painted minis is always the best advice now. 👍
