where should I take this aboleth?

I feel it’s a cool toned maroon at the moment so I’m really leaning towards doing teal highlights. All I have for teal atm though is hydra turqoise from army painter. Should I keep it the same or darken it I wanted to dry brush it with it?

Or I could go over it with a pale fleshy color to kind of give it that fleshy look. Opinions?

Hi, I believe a flesh tone would be more appropriate, if you are referring to the upper part, which is now violet.
