Is this just contrast paint? Or how did you get that effect?

I used:

Contrast paint at start something like lizard green from Vallejo xpress and maybe a darker one in the mid parts like plague green or similar

Bag of bones xpress color

Then to reduce the shine and because it lacked an undertone, (people normally do red undertone and then green on top, dry brushed for example) so I had a white primer from the purchase, and gave it the green and bone contrast, and toned it down using a red brown airbrush, I think it was mahagony Vallejo air

Airbrushed zombie flesh to the wings

And it still looked too glossy

So the last step I have done so far is ultra Matt polyurethane varnish Vallejo 2:1 satin varnish Vallejo

It’s just these initial steps because I got discouraged with the contrast paints glossy finish but now after varnish it’s a bit better
