I failed. Red asked me if I wanted a new hobby light for my desk cause I was struggling with mine and the new desk set up since I moved. We bought the game envy deal for 2 lamps. I realized like probably 4 days later this isn't a furniture purchase (been buying a lot of furniture for the new house since we moved from a small apartment), but a hobby purchase.

At the same time, this challenge isn't worth suffering over, and the light situation was getting in the way of hobbying, as I was getting a lot of overspill light into my eyes, which made me not able to see well and was very irritating.

I did manage to get some painting done last night though. Trying to figure out how to speed paint an army of Chaos Space Marines so my hubby can have a legal army for NOVA.

The base colors are all primer, though you could replicate with an airbrush and actual paint if you have it handy. Black all over, purple in the non-shadowed areas, pink zenithal, then the trim (which took the longest) with AP Fanatic Aged Bronze. The piping is magma orange and I used black and yellow in other parts

Day 65: Still hanging on. Real life is taking away my hobby time a whole bunch. I've barely dented my backlog with paint, but I've sold off a few things that I'll never get to. Running low on super glue and dark sea blue paint. I've resorted to using wood glue after my wife used all my regular PVA and Modge Podge to make book nooks. The folks at my LGS think I don't love them any more. I'm starting to forget the taste of dopamine.
