My vellajo white primer always seem to pool and seems very very thin, and tips on using it would be hugely appreciated

This might not be the answer you're looking for, but my suggestion is not to use Vallejo white primer. I've had much better results with ammo's one shot primer and even GW's spray can white primer.

Alternatively, you might need to shake the bottle for longer.

Unless it really pools faster than that, then it's a combination of can you pull down less (I suppose mostly), or thinning versus pressure, and are you far enough from the mini when you spray?

I might be too close tbh thank you, I cant use spray cans as its waaaay to cold and humid in the UK 😂 tried learning zenethal with airbrush, black is fine but white pools, I'm using 25psi so idk if that's to high or low

25 sounds fine to me

You could dial any way up to 20, but depends on the thinning

Oh, and I'd recommend mixing your black and white primers for a zenithal, to introduce a 3rd color before jumping to white. It'll help with the speckles.

So go black grey white?

Yup

Black all over, grey 45 degree, white from the very top + focus areas get a little more (but only from above)

Makes sense tbh, so go trio of colours, pull less on trigger? And switch between air and paint

I use a very light grey for that

And how thin should it be? I add about 50/50

I am not sure how to answer that one

#

I think I do a half cup for 3 drops of Vallejo thinner?

Depends on many things though
