these are actually much easier than they look

you just have to be able to draw consistent, straight lines but not over a long distance

so there's no cheating here beyond just good bracing technique and brush control

if you're like most other painters, you're probably better with one particular motion than others

for me, it's a straight pull of the brush

#

that gets me the straightest lines I can paint with the lowest amount of overpressure

#

so I position the mini in such a way that I can form any line with just a straight pulling motion

#

so whichever motion you're best at, angle the mini so you can use that for every single line

#

start with the inner colour fill and then paint the border afterwards

I've done these exact patterns in the past and they're some of the easiest freehands imo
