When I try to glaze on smaller surface, like arm of 25mm figure, I often end up with 2 results, either where is too much water and pigment dries around water droplet and leaves hole in the middle, or with less water strokes become too "textured", and I can't achieve smooth transition. Any tips on how to achieve consistent glazes?

Are you trying a stoke on your thumbnail first?
a big thing too is to use the "side" of the brush, and not the tip for glazing
Will give it a try. Regarding side and tip, if I want to smooth out a transition from highlight to midtone for example, I feel like going with side of a brush will cover too much of an area.
