imo subassembly should be more models that have parts that really interfere with others like gun arms that go over the chest

or if you want to focus extra on a specific part of the model

this harlequin should be easy enough to paint assembled

I would say it's not worth to paint that in sub assembly unless you prefer it

dont have anything to say to the sub assembly but that cloak might be one of my favorite ones. Especially the dark blue.

If the eye can see it a brush can reach it

Full assembly of a model might require a bit more thought in the order of which you paint various areas (usually inwards>outwards)
