I was curious about your question and found a few similar questions on the minipainting reddit all leading to some interesting answers...

Apparently hex code matching/searching can be unlocked in the PaintRack (iOS/Android) app for a one time fee of around $6 USD (I haven't tried this)
It's worth noting that a hex code (or any other color code really) on a computer screen are not totally reliable since computers use a light-based additive color system and physical pigments are a subtractive color system. Not to mention monitor calibration and other environmental factors.
That said, I wonder if Moot Green or Warboss green from this chart https://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/paint_range_compatibility_chart would get you close enough?
What a great and insightful answer! The color is taken from sprites, so the color is accurate. I'll take a look at these after work, because this will be amazing resource to use to find colors i need!
Thanks! It'll give me a baee point at least if research fails. Cheers!
sprites?
Yes, the just of it is its from a 2d, top-down sprite based game. I wanna 3d print some models and this color is used to denote squad color, hence the certainly of the color
Ah gotcha. You’ll still have the screen to physical world uncanny valley but at least you know the exact screen color you’re going for.
👍 excited for the printer to come
that color actually doesn't look too far off from Spring Green by Scale 75 (scalecolor line)
I wonder in what lighting environment they measure the hex code of the paint...
