One of the issues he has is that his Lethal Hits ability is in competition with the Apothecary Biologis. Additionally, his second ability is effectively Twin-Linked, which the only melee gravis unit already has, and just be sure to give him the Fire and Fury bit of wargear if it is a wargear ability

A few possible changes is to give him fall back and shoot and charge, like the regular LT, and if he charges he gives his unit +1 to hit. The main reasons we would do that is to give him a role separate from the Cpt and Biologis, but also really enforces each of the units in a good spot.
Cpt becomes generally all-purpose, who he joins changes based on what detachment he's in.
Lt is aggressive and seriously benefits Aggressors
Biologis can join the heavies or the Erads, bases on what the cpt didn't join

It seems to me that doing an outlining to mark a contour of shadows around the joints and some extreme lights on edges and then glazing with airbrush with quite diluted Fluo paint, if you accept my advice! 😅

Definitely like it more, I'd personally use that more especially in a unit with someone like Vulkan or even a Cpt in the Firestorm detach, and he doesn't necessarily have to be attached to Aggressors since he'll benefit units like Heavy Intercessors by letting them get out of combat, shoot somewhere else, then go back into combat and be protected

and stops Erads from getting dunked on by a cheap screen charging them

I use contrast on top almost 100% of the time. Mostly with an ink zenithal though. I sometimes get reactivation with the ink, but I've learned how to avoid it 99% of the time

It mostly happens when I end up putting contrast on it, then smudging it around several times

It's a little bit annoying, but avoidable and much less annoying than having to varnish in between so I've decided I'm ok with it 🙂

And also not entirely sure if molotow or the ink is to blame for the issue

ok yeah ive heard molotow is the issue, not had it with inks myself, but i get what you mean. I did a test with molotow black and was able to smudge it quite easily.

Day 166, went outside for the ten minute clear stretch to spray some matte krylon on the tiles from yesterday. Also, feeling good about myself opened the bin that they'll go back in, feeling like I was making progress. Then realized I was ignoring the 2/3s of the bin that was walls and unpainted, so I pulled those out, to find that after spray priming them last year and letting them sit nearly two weeks, they were still tacky when I stored them so they were all stuck together and had to be gentle seperated as much as I could avoid pulling off primer. Yay for 85%+ humidity areas

Also dropped off a pair of entries for a local painting contest; I'm confident I will place dead last, as despite no rubric or instructions being given, based on past performance and what I saw of the entries, I'm the only one who didn't paint W40 or SW.

Hi, this dwarf is from Rackham, an old French brand that has ceased its activities in 2010. You can find it by searching on eBay. The Noble Knight store also usually has something from time to time. There is also a company from Ukraine that sells it. I don't know if they acquired the molds or if they are reproductions, as they also sell stls produced by them using the same aesthetic.

I had a certain resistance to using the airbrush , worried that it could get clogged in the middle of the process or ruin the entire work because of a spider web, but I fully integrated its use into my process and today I enjoy using the airbrush and I feel comfortable and safe using it!

I believe they are more difficult, mainly because there is less space to make transitions, to work with textures, to create volumes, many times. A fold of fabric can only be used for a single brushstroke, which makes artistic expression more difficult. However, after so many years of painting in this scale, I have gotten so used to it that 28/32mm seems to be the best scale.

I use tamiya putty basic type. Just smear it on with a toothpick to get in in the gap then I can scrape it back with a knife the next day after it dries.

It's based on the same stuff as the glue so it bonds to the plastic.
