Day 428. I'm so excited I wanted to make a mario inspired blanket for my friends newborn. So we got 2 swaddling blankets with a coin shaped appliqué. Originally wanted to also do a rainbow road inspired blanket but my gremlin stole half the fabric and I'm not in the mood to fight with a toddler 🤷‍♀️. No worries there will be a large amount of gifts either way

1.) Found a horrible mold line across my mouseling’s face, so I had to strip, clean and prime it again
2.) I made a texture palette, waiting for it to dry so that I can prime it

He has balance issues, as you might imagine, and I had to bother to get some huge washers to help out, and then finish using the big base I tac him too and... so I think I managed to figure out the shading I had used on his other side and shade most of this side (other than that arm. Oops!)

I don't recommend anything fancy. I'm using cheap ones off ali express and they work pretty well - just don't try them with anything more than plastic sprue.

3. Leather elements on figurine, Figure out some nice texture for this and stipple it on.
4. Adjust gold on weapon hilts or just say screw it
5. Adjust highlights on main red armor, esp. left shoulder
6. Paint tree

...Wow. I mean, I hadn't looked that hard, but I'm pretty sure you're right. The bottom flares out a little, then comes back in, like one might expect from a flask. I think it's the nature of the mold, because there's plastic in between the potion and the body, that I was reading as maybe an open scroll or something, Nicely done.

Hi, I like to mix GS with some other epoxy putty when I need to sand it later, Milliput, for example, if I need it to be very smooth and thinner, like in this case, the best thing would be to use a rubber tool, clayshaper and a little bit of Vaseline, perhaps this is not the most appropriate place for this type of comment, I hope you don't mind this. 😅

Day 130. Poured out a little purple paint to do some brood bros. Thinned it a little and it just kept on going. Kept finding more figures to put some purple on. It got ridiculous.
