sketched a bit, you did right thing with general shapes of reflections but the key to great looking nmm is shine! on pick i just outlined shapes, shaded highlights a bit and downsidzed them a bit + made brightest points almost pure white
in short - less midtone and more brightest highlights, usually pipe like thing do have straight line of light. outline thing and this model will pop!
btw this is great first nmm
because generally it work, placement is neat
Oh wow thank you. That actually helps illustrate it a lot.
Yeah I was thinking I need more brighter highlights on the brightest parts but was a little scared to go too bright. That picture though shows me exactly what I need to do. Thanks so much!
@barren crypt
A bit better? I tried to saturate the purple a bit more and change up the highlights. Going to narrow the area of highlight on the thighs to more like your mockup too
great job!
its looking rad, i am wondering if decreasing size of white highlight will help but it is already looking really good
but too much white on hands
general idea of white stripe on leg is to replicate cylinder shape reflection
Yeah I think narrowing it slightly and then more of a shadow right next to highlight like those pictures. Good reference. I need to look at references more for sure
