Ok. Never really to been one to do this, but as it happens I have been painting vehicles the past two months (slowly, I’m not very good). But last night I prepped some Crisis Protocol trucks (CP-14) and will be priming them tomorrow (I hope). So, I guess I’m in.

Opted for a grey primer for the vehicles, black for the wheels and axels and a metallic color for some of the undercarriage extras (fuel tank and box)

Why is it that blue is so common among cars?
Every car I like i go looking for some source images and it's always blue. Even the ones that are custom made and don't even have a road legal version but ofc, even the manufacturer makes that one off special display version that is aaaaaand, it's blue.

But the lack of imagination is confusing.

Yeah, I totally agree. Vehicles need the smoothness that the airbrush gives. I had a heck of a time with my trucks and said the same thing - next time, airbrush.
