Hi! I'd like to know what you think of having the tassels on the shield yellow, and if you'd make the other tassels (on the arm and between the legs) yellow too.

#

I am a little conflicted : I like the red, and I would like it to be the "stand out color", but as the shield is red, it would be redundant to have the tassels the same color. But I also think it is weird to have two different colors for the tassels.

tbh.. I think the red is lost between the legs (but it could be the colour setting on my monitor) but looks good on the shield.. have you considered applying a dark orange (or even the red) wash followed by yellow dry brush to make the tassels pop ?

However, I will add washes later, making everything darker...

I really think either approach would work. Currently you have some color rhythm with the red shield and red tassels. It also creates a visual triangle which is kinda cool.

On the other hand, going all yellow with the tassels would be cool too. Kinda for the same color rhythm and triangle reasons. But it would allow the shield to pop as the only red element. I think you can't go wrong either way ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, I see, thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

i suppose one could argue that the most unique color currently is the yellow tassels and perhaps that's not what you want to draw the eye to. That could be an argument for making all the tassels yellow (but I still think either works)

sorry looking at this again and realizing I gave you a very convoluted non-answer ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Haha, no worry, you gave me some elements I didn't think about X)
