Im new to the hobby, and im trying to wash my mini but when i apply it, it looks way to smudged and dark, and doesnt rly pop the cracks. Should i maybe thin it with water or apply less, maybe brush it in a napkin before applying?

I managed to make it better by highlighting
This was also AFTER watering the wash a bit

I think this is pretty good for a wash. Good idea with the highlighting.
