#Would it be possible to maybe add damage to the scoreboard for sieges and vods?

show everything, damage output, damage taken, healing given/received
dopamine goes up when numbers go up, more possible numbers to go up = doped up
Nation points earned is pretty much a damage dealt number but yeah this would be nice
I would like to see more info added to the score board, Healing/Blocked and revies
then it would be nice to gain nation points for tanks for blocking damage and for medics for healing others and reviving them 😄

Nation points are for damage dealt to enemy players I don’t want to see that change maybe battle points or something else would make more sense
and how doesnt that make sense to you ?
so the guy holding the frontline shield wall while three DPS players safely farm hits behind him contributed nothing to his nation ?
-so tank blocks 40 arrows, stalls a choke point for two minutes, protects healers, absorbs most the pressure = contribution 0
-medics revive 20 guy in siege , bandage every wounded soldier at sight , no time to fight = contribution 0
-then there is a random berserker pokes one half dead dude for 80 damage before dying in a ditch = patriot of the nation , contribution +

well i agree with most of this but you actually get less NP if you're only last hitting people most of the NP comes from damage dealt

its pretty simple i stated what i thought of nation points ive historically played medic basically 99% of my time and ive really enjoyed shield the rest of the time its cool to disagree its just an opinion
you get a ton of nation points playing medic in the way i would say is "Correct" most medics play more of a backline role but if you push play aggressive and revive guys mid fight especially in gate houses you get a lot of nps from that and for shield players i dont see the point not every guy doing anything needs a participation award for playing his role and i think it only detracts value from np as a whole to do so
right now nation points function directly as how much damage you are doing in a fight for the most part and i like that things get a lot more messy if you suddenly let every bad player with a shield scoreboard because they over pushed and turtled a couple of guys for twenty seconds

u already admit medics get np from reviving aggressively because it helps win fights, so np clearly isnt and shouldnt just ''damage dealt''
and the ''participation award'' argument makes no sense when useless dps can still farm np by tagging people twice before dying :pacepalm:
nobody is saying blocking 2 hits should equal killing 5 players .. balance exists, revives, tanking, using siege engines , and damage can all have different np values
the issue is the system overvalues dps and undervalues support roles
ur basically dismissing tanks and support because they dont inflate your personal damage numbers, which is kind of the whole issue here ...
and at that point it stops being a balance argument and starts looking like scoreboard obsession
I'm 90% sure you do earn NP's just for blocking. You earn NP's has a medic when you revive someone and that person goes on to get kills, you get assists and NPs. You earn the most NPs by doing the most dmg. It's usually better to farm new players around the main fight than it is to fight in the main fight when farming NP.
