🥼🗡️🏹 dagger archer

light shield + dagger/1h sword

Stats:
80/150/298
150/150/275

situational - good in defensive sieges, weak in instanced events and melee fights

only play if you want to craft bows or know someone that crafts them

first build is stamina issues 😄

Siege Archer
Decent bow damage, 1h sword/spear and shield for melee. Keep some extra medium armor for melee fights.

this is my 2h sword melee archer build.
focuses kill time and playing the flanks over sitting in the back. dont need interrupt as much as the bows often to finish people that are running or weak in the back/ to harass/ to force someone to push, you get less arrows and less range damage but its still decent enough for picks

if you plan to melee alot you really do need the hp as experienced players with good enough armor and con will trade medium attacks right before your full ones and cut you down

its also near max 2h sword damage for having 200con, lordly halb overhead is pretty nasty too q10/q0 food examples

for it being early in the playtest tho i regret taking huntsman over sting. sting would of been more damage with spears and bows over AP at the moment

Because any point after 200 cost 3 attribute points, fill STR to 150 and you will have 3STR for every DEX over 200. Bow and dagger scale with DEX and little with STR, so you don't lose as much punch, though craftable 2h swords scale with STR/DEX, so you deal monster 2h damage for an archer

81 CON and light armor is a glasscannon so use 2H very wisely. Why use 2H and not dagger if you have a skill to match? Because reach, and shield on back.

Onto the last quirk of this build, 15pts into medic tree, you can revive friendlies for FULL hp, while the shield on the back will protect you from enemy archer interrupt if you position yourself nicely. Don't do this on the front line, you'll die, but use your stamina/ammo downtime to get friendlies back into action

It used to have more sense before free bandage changes and max revive cap, but is still powerful

My eyes hurt watching this section 😵

Not as much as before, but you retain 1/6th of would be DEX damage output for bows (I hold one in hand in these 2 screenshots), with 17.5 boost to slashing (light armor counter) damage reduction

I agree with you it's not for everyone, you may even not call it good, but I'm not a wall dweller so I cannot go full dex

#

Now I grabbed a vendor 2H sword and it scales STR/DEX in almost equal ratio, so with 3STR for every DEX>200 I think it's good tradeoff

might understand why we dont see any other archer in board lmao

I top leaderboards with 200/200/207, I don't get as many kills but get more nation points per kill cus I full kill them solo

#

And more importantly I try to keep them from getting picked up if I can help it, like in huge fights I'm curious how helpful vs hurtful it is pop a greenleaf dead for them to then have a medic revive a greenleaf and give everyone around the great comeback buff

Justg tested archer today to see if they are as easy mode as in 2019. Now they are worse. I have to request devs to introduce torturing for enemy archers we catch on the battlefield.

i backstab heavy orange+6 geared for 300+ dmg with dagger... headshots on full heavy are around 120-150 with purple +1 bow. Feels more powerful in dmg.. Limitation with 35/45 Arrows is not recognizable.

#

And the interrupt on full attack is OP as hell. Its just too good to be honest. It has to be removed..

<.< they removed leg shot for interrupting attacks kinda annoying chasing people

Seeking feedback on this build. Idea is to have giga damage for swords as a backup and when the chance presents itself while primarily being a foot archer.

veteran over breath control? I assume that gives more Bullseye value

delicate shell
#

for regen stam u should use potions and not waste 10 points into breath control and also thats why bullseye it is very importan

Could just as easily switch 5 from athlete into breath control too

Problem with breath control is that taking opportunistic hits will make you lose a ton of stamina regen ticks so you will lose performance and eventually fatigue

But I still prefer it over veteran, on the basis that mediocre base stamina will get mediocre buffed stamina (use monastic mead tho, no T5 regen drink that I remember)

Stam regen (which you max with high DEX) gives that confidence that you can sprint to fatigue, get into an active fight and regen while blocking.

Besides, what you lose with no veteran you feel less with max athlete, which is a must these days

I never really used bullseye mainly because I am a low skill pleb

Bullseye is a must imo , allow u to keep firing all the time , veteran can save u while swimming , i swim a lot 😁 ,thats why i choose veteran.
