Unfortunately I think so too. Overall when you have very similar clusters releasing close to each other, they just cannibalize each other.
Yes clusters are dying regardless but this only speed up the process.
If it was up to me, I would do big wipe every second week. I think it would give some people incentive to rebuild and I dont think its such a big deal.
Like if you get wiped few days in, why would you even rebuild if you can wait couple more days for new big cluster.
