torch is atleast kinda āskillā ish to use in late pvp combat, flame arrows and fire wyv are just annoying af especially if theres a 50k hp wyv on you

You canāt even try to tek sword or tek punch the rider cause theyāll just get back on after youāve lost 80% of your health

Flame arrow are easy to counter just use extinguiser nade and they ct kill u with that
yeah but its kinds difficult if you get bola d and 2 ppl comp flame arrow you
you either whip shield or grenade which is gonns get u hit like 4 times
But when itās a sword that 2 tap u deep in your aah itās no problem š„

the dot is not scaled by the dinos damage modifiers

they can nerf the direct damge from fire but thats not why its op
its based on fire damage modifiers fire wyverns give the enflamed buff
the pyromane, flamethrower, lava, fire wyvern, are all different fire effects
its not though
so you re trying to say the enflamed status from wyverns is not different in any way to the flamethrower one or thr pyromane one
theyre both fire effects just different
fire wyvern is typically 15-20% max hp and caps oit at 80 dmg per tick if im not mistaken, and flamethrower does aprox 9% max hp dmg and caps out at 100
the fire wyvern effect lasts 7 seconds the flamethrower one lasts 10-11
flamethrower damage ticks more than the wyvern breath effect per second
or lava enflamed which is a flat 25% of max hp for thr time sat in lava and thrn gets applied for 7 seconds
also wyvern milk doesn t stop all of these
but it doesn t negate rhe dmg from breath completely, the initial breath damage is still taken the burn is just not applied
with a 500% meele fire wyvern the breath would do around 700-1000 damagr due to the fact it would do an estimate of 110 damage plus or minus 20 which gets applied multiple times per second over 2.6 seconds channel
pyromane effect is like 4.4% per stack or some bs like that which stacks up to 10 Im pretry sure
but like the fully stacked effect isnt counted the normal way you d count it, the hp of thr target is taken into account on a percentage base making it the strongest if u stack it and weakest if u dont
