yeah , the nitrada ones are dookie buns, and also the shop is cooler and better on dedicated , dedicated ones run better shop is better just an overall better experience

Thats atleast how I understand it. But tbh from my experience the servers on nitrado gets lower pop and losses pop faster cuz they soo laggy

So I agree that dedis is the way to go. It’s what makes elite better than other servers since Im pretty sure they are the only ones with good servers

i get its prolly more expensive and discoverability or so that one admin claims or whatever , but its literally just a fact that ur dedicated ones just run better

Played last solo duo mini cluster that recently released and it was pure fiesta. Couldnt properly use maeguana, rubber banding across the place, pvp being pure rng who lags properly in your bola or whatever. I mean if we are talking about competition here, something has to change. We as ark players are special breed, because players of pretty much any other similar game wouldnt deal with it. Could you imagine for example Rust players playing with such lag? Running around for minutes, teleporting and trying to hit anything, I mean its just embarassing.

And dont get me wrong, I understand that motivation of owners is that clusters gain more and more popularity, but at the same time I think many new players if they join on newly opened cluster, I think they will be discouraged.

Even at the cost of playability? Did you play the current solo duo mini cluster?

We have played it with my duo partner to have some early game fun, but then we have quit after few hours because it was unplayable.

Yes I’ve played the first week

First little bit 45mins was rough-ish but nothing crazy I was at about 200-250 server ping

250 off rip which isn’t terrible or unplayable

Then after the start ping n lag was better and had a good rest of wipe

If the main cluster was running fine from start, then the question is - why was the mini cluster quality so poor? Any explanations?

I did and the extinction server was pretty smooth

Joined 2hrs late and it was only 40ish pop

As for servers not popping up on the list. They have never popped up in my unofficial list without me searching for eliteark

Even the last played server does not show up without typing eliteark in the search bar

That’s the problem. Without Nitrado you have to manually search AAAAAAAND click show player servers. That prevents any new players from finding us.

I agree that dedi are better than nitrado but you gotta weigh the good and bad tho Ronnie. You have a big player base already, of course getting new players are always a good thing. But if your current players aren't having a good time on the servers you switched to try and gain new players they might not play. Me and my duo quit on that duo wipe as well bc of that lag. Do you want to keep current player base good standing or risk alot of them to.stop playing to get a couple new players who might even quit due to the lag as well? Tbh that 6 man wipe reminded me of the 3 man LT back then my first wipe and I stayed for another wipe or 2 after that bc it was good.

If a fibroid brained speck of dust cant type eliteark and tick player servers idk what to say why should we cater to have them on the servers most are just console bots that quit and get raided after day 1 💀 everyone came to elite for the pvp and being lag free lets be honest. if we catering to have moew console plastic brained kids on here for more pop then idk what to say anymore

Apparently last beginner was pretty disastrous, so maybe the lag also comes to the map. Or maybe the beginners are more laggy than the rest, its hard to tell.

Well Ronnie doesn't have to. It's his cluster and his strategy. All we can do is to point out that certain things aren't to our liking, but we don't see the background of his decisions.
