this is prob gonna get shot down by all the griffin enthusiasts but, nerf griffins. give them like 30-50% less resistance. them mfs get 35k hp and take like 30 clips from a fabi to even get low. not to mention they can spam pick and bola through their body. whoever in wildcard though "hey lets make the already broken tame breedable this go around" is dumb asf. they are the only viable flier. mid-late game. was so much more fun the first 2 days of wipe before everyone and their grandma was going around on bred griffins.
with resistance nerf at least they can be better delt with by everyone focusing on shooting them.
other potential option is a griffen mod that reduces pick cooldown to say 5 second ect.

side note, specially made nets for things such as griffens, wyverns, stegos, and other specific dinos that have few downside (not theri or rhino) would also make pvp a lot more enjoyable but ik asa player base isnt ready for the conversation.

bro griffins are good, but not 'need a nerf' good. if your main struggle are the picks put whip and plant z in your kit. plant z almost a no brainer even on fast flight and whip you may need to practice a bit but also very consistent. if they fly fast just grapple
other things you can do in addition to just snipe them: have aggressive pyro on shoulder, try a lil melee build with just 200% melee + the bleed skill for metal pike and sword from lost colony skills. the combo gets griffins down fast enough so they can't pick you a second time at least.

lol yeh u can run, the issue is u can’t fight it and kill it. If there’s a Dino that has no counter aka nets, that doesn’t take flier damage despite being a flier. It’s kinda problem. Plus the fact that they have imprint giving them higher resistance and damage. Yeh nah.

That wouldn’t get 1 hit by a giga. Bred ones with 40 plus points even get more than 20k hp. I don’t see anyone complaining about how quick wyverns die to gigas. Griffins are the same story except they don’t take actual flier damage.

50% only makes them about equal with how they were on ase. it removes the 30% dmg and resistance that imprinted dinos have that ase griffens didnt have. and the other 20 percent is because on ase they you could only have as many as you were willing to tame which made them valuable, u didnt wanna lose a griffen cause it was annoying to replace. on asa u can mass raise them in the first week of a wipe and have 100 griffins so i feel like the extra 20 percent ontop of imprint removed would make it more fair considering how easy it is to get a ton of them now.

funny how many nerf griffins posts ive seen recently now that people are starting to understand how broken and boring griffin pvp is with spam picking and bolaing through the griffin plus insane dps and hp

60% nerf resistance, fuck em they get 40k hp when bred anyway and just sit on top of your dino spam picking. either make them able to be easily killed with a fabi or make a griffin mod that has 5 second cooldown on picking. they are legit the only flyer anyone needs. easily best support flier for picks, among the fastest fliers, survives 5x longer due to their resistance and high hp than all their picking/speed competition. thats not even mentioning the fact that if someone wants to be boring they can just do drive by hits and kill any other flier without having to even get close enough to get picked.
