ark esp anyway is far harder to prove due to products like neuro where it literally doesn’t interact with game files at all, ark also has a shitty anti cheat compared to rust/ rust servers having a lot more control over their stuff. If anything i’d talk to people on rust like louis on how they run their servers, im very close with a lot of the admins on atlas and they do a good job of preventing widespread cheating by punishing other people/teams as a whole for cheating which obviously is not fully applicable but it gets to the point that you either have over the playtime maximum on a punishment for the team to play or you have to get pc checked to play, just using a free echo check will turn up almost everything except the best products

servers like rustoria also i believe use pc checks, i can ask a friend who is a senior admin on there but im pretty sure they do if its a known player

the liability issue is not real as the top admins who conduct pc checks sign NDAs, at end of day the product which atlas in my example provides is superior to all the other servers to the point that people want to play it over the others so they are able to do this with still good results, however they don’t pc check everyone like if its just blatant etc

rust also has a much more robust in game reporting system which there’s no reason ark shouldn’t have other then them being lazy fucks

it depends on who you are if they will pc check

pretty sure aimglows had to get pc checked last week to get unbanned

i mean currently it might just be because vorpz is gone from atlas and louis is only one trained to do pc checks so if your not important person he doesn’t care enough

dma is almost impossible to detect without a pc checked using an executable so they don’t really have a choice on some people

im a 17k hour rust player servers do not do immediate bans

the only thing implemented in rust is cerberus bans which only are applied to new accounts and its done by facepunch from to many reports and high accuracy/kd

#

banning players when they may not be cheating is unnacceptable so your concept most likely wont be added
