I mean ratholes are an part of the game banning people for that is stupid yea reatholes are not easy to raid but an way for small tribes to survive i mesn the ones on scorched are still not patched because they arent that op yea you can have much space but you can be raided in longer time aswell you cant leave your base because an small entrace you can block it and the guy cant leave and for breeding their not that good

Rathole should be 1x and small entrance, the trade off being that there's not much space. Caves 6x and big entrance, trade off being alot of space. But ark b ark

all of the ratholes that are that big that i know of are either fully patched out or partially patched so that they are smaller.

There’s one on centre in the bottom right of the map that has a 1x1 trapdoor entrance. Can’t spawn on beds there but it has ruins so obviously intended

Seems kinda stupid when that’s arguably better than every cave on the map but snow north

lots of people dont know how to build ratholes thus making them vulnerable to cheese strategies like turtle tek nade or tek rifle.

It's part of the game and always will be ratholes are amazing for tribes of all sizes if you take away those then all we have left is a few caves and modded caves if those get taken where do the other 50 plus tribes go we don't have enough caves on any map for the amount of people on wipe day

In ASA they've definitely "intended" for some to be in the game. After updates some ratholes have ruins and skulls etc added to them showing that the Devs are aware of them and are allowing it

Rat holes are a mrans for small tribes to have a chance at defending themselves vs larger tribes that have larger, stronger base locations. They stay.
