#maxz Surf Map Issues (+ some general stuff)

🗺️ Map specific:

  • surf_kitsune Start Zone is bugged
  • surf_simpsons_source Stage 10s booster and Spawn is really weird and inconsistant
  • surf_tropic stage 3 spawn in the air
  • surf_nuclear Start Zone in the air
  • surf_me stage 3 stage reset spawn in the air
  • surf_boreas start zone bugged and airstuck

🌎 General:

  • [if exsitant] I'd generally prefer starting in the Linear or Stage 1 Starter Zone rather than in the maps built in hub "world"

🔫 Weapon:

  • I do find the pace of RMB knife attack deeply unsatisfying 😄 (too slow)
  • would love to inspect weapons
  • how do i get my knife/gun back after dropping it?

👀 HUD:

  • allow X/Y axis movement for stats (speedometer, etc.) to allow custom positioning
  • Sometimes the own trail will block vision when looking straight down (and even before) as it starts at "x/y/z 0". If "y" was shifted a bit back, the problem would be resolved
  • "valve_hint_alternative_weapon_knife" at every map start...?

🏆 Leaderboard:

  • show me the overall map completions in the leaderboard. I know I'm place #1234 but whats the total? 1.234/1.000.000 or 1.234/1.500? at least show a "you are in the top 5.1%" or something

⚠ Will check for double mentions when done with map testing and delete doubles accordingly from my post

Will add to it, if I stumble over other stuff.
Generally I love the idea and execution so far 🙂

thanks for the feedback, good to see people properly playtesting. most of these bugs/feature are known and fixes are in the works for the next update 0.10.0. I think the only one we probably can't do in the near future is add inspect animations, since we don't really have anyone doing animation work right now.

Would do it but i can barely "produce" a dog in mspaint.

is there some "known issues that will get implemented in update xyz" post so i can check before reposting known issues?
