Legacy map is too bright in most of the areas while being almost completely dark in the others(like elevator 1st -> 2nd floor) at night period, innocents can see terrors a lot farther than they should

The animation when you transform should take longer, at the moment, when u press T(the transform key) not even half a second passed and you can execute the innocent right besides you, not giving him a chance to react and instantly being executed. The simple solution to that is to make the animation a little bit longer.

When an infected transforms besides an innocent, the innocent and the terror bodies are in the same spot, nocliping eachother, and by that happening, the innocent cant really shot the terror to defend himself. This problem is mostly seen at the werewolf due to it having 4 legs and staying horizontal. To fix that you should make the terrors and the innocent collide with eachother (maybe its already in the game but its not really polished).

Every time I try to pick up ammo/armor, or try to pick up someone when I have pistol on hand without being fully loaded, I can’t interact, I need to have the pistol fully loaded to be able to interact. Because of this every time I have to pick up someone I have to change to another item and most of the time I lose, change this pls (this happens only on console)

We need the pistol mechanics of legacy deceit 1 as soon as possible. You can down someone even if he has armor in literally 2 seconds, the way the pistol shoots now is just like a fast lazer, 100% accurate and very fast. The way the pistol shoots right now might be good to deceit 2 standard due to ammo being limited and not being used as often, but in legacy pistol is used way more. We should have deceit 1 pistol mechanics in legacy deceit 2 in order to balance the pistol and not get insta downed even with armor. We need this as soon as possible and you should give this priority because shooting is one of the most important things in legacy.

Fully remake the start animation when getting in a match, also the ending screen when everyones roles get revealed. And try to make them as close as original legacy's ones because they are basically better in each way. And make it so we get our roles after you wake up and get off the floor the same as in original legacy.

The torch just feels terrible imo I feel like I’m tickling a terror when I pull a torch out and shine it at the terror. So, I think that a way to fix this would either to buff the light damage it does or to make it slow the infected more kind of like deceit one but maybe not as severe
(And maybe that’s not the right way to go about it but that’s just my thoughts)

hello, long time deceit 1 player here. about 1500 hours in deceit 1, old streamer, and old rank 1 player in ranked.

i want to share some thoughts about the deceit 2 legacy mode that can hopefully improve the quality of it a little bit.

  1. the gun reloading feels really bad. it takes forever, is delayed and makes for a very clunky game. also it feels like there is a definite lack of ammo in the game. 9 bullets is not enough ammo for when you respawn. (this is probably my biggest complaint)

  2. the "dusters" which are replacing the knife i supposed is extremely lackluster. the knife used to be one of the most extremely viable weapons in the game and now it feels like I'm helpless with these dusters. I'm not sure how they're designed so idk how to critique them, but they are extremely hard to use, and even if you do use them well they don't do much.

  3. weapon/health distribution. armor is extremely hard to find in this game mode, and without armor, you get two shot by a pistol. it is extremely overpowered to down someone in 1 seconds with two bullets that aren't even headshots.

  4. the light items are terrible, i personally think its more valuable to run around the map looking for ammo at the start of the game to defend terrors than use the light items. they don't slow down terrors enough to the point where its worth trying to get them. in deceit 1 they used to be really strong, which meant the infected had to spend some time collecting them so they could kill easier, which in turn meant less time for drinking. however now they don't have to worry about light items and have more time to drink.

  5. the voice activated at all time is very bad for this game mode. i can see why its good for the main game mode of deceit 2, but for legacy its brutal and makes for so many mic spammers in games.

  1. with how running works in deceit 2, it does not translate well into deceit 2 legacy. everyone feels way too fast, it feels impossible to catch anyone as an innocent, and it makes for infected drinking then running away super easy. this makes the game feel very very infected sided and makes the games feel un fun most of the time. maybe this would be better on different maps idk, but on asylum at least it feels impossible to catch anyone.

  2. there is almost no delay between turning on someone and beginning the eating animation. if I'm right next to someone i can turn on them and 0.5 seconds later they are dead, no counterplay. in deceit 1 there was a 2 secondish turning animation before the killer could kill and he was slowed. this needs to be returned.

  3. when i click e on objectives or collecting someone, i have to literally have my crosshair right on top of it and be standing directly over it. makes the game feel very clunky. a very slight bit more range could help a lot with that, similar to how it was in deceit 1.

overall i really wish i could say i liked the game mode. it seems like it has potential and could be fun but right now it just doesn't feel very fun. I'm gonna keep playing to learn more and gain more feedback for developers and get a better understanding of everything. obviously this is the first rendition of the game mode so it's a test, so i don't wanna be too harsh, but it needs a lot of work IMO.

in deceit one it was only lisa rachel nina hans chang alex so it made it easier to depict people but its rly rly hard to tell who is who espcially when there are 5 females in the game now priya, rachel, nina, lisa and beck

  1. when respawning when you are downed you should have 9 + 6 bullets
  2. Reload feels to slow and should be faster
  3. Sometimes the gun jams and you do not shoot and takes 1-2 seconds to shoot

4) The way you run with shotgun needs to be changed / animation wise

Light Items
5) Torch needs to be 100% buffed is an 0% usable item atm.
6) Camera also needs to be slightly buffed + delay of usage should be better ( you should not hit them directly on the face )
You should be able to do reduce light health even on their back
7) Terror light health regen needs to be reduced

8) When transforming they should be a transform animation, so there is a small delay
9) If you lose 50% of your light health as a terror you cannot de-transform ( this is getting abused a lot while shooting but if we buff light items and do this is gonna be better )

10) Vampire needs to be buff needs to be faster

11) They need to be change when there is 2 upstairs in balcony 3rd location, they are to close to each other, is impossible to breakthrough as Innocent or Infected, whoever gets first wins
12) We should also re-add the pool upstairs 1st location exit for more variety

Make the Perk Tree again, that balances the infected role. We need fast reload and slow fire rate. The infected needs the perk that if you down some innocent u get half bloodbag or the one that if u die u lose only half bloodbag, or the one that u start with half bloodbag, because in good lobbies its literally impossible to drink, asylum it has been a infected role map but without the perk tree, it is impossible to be able to drink 2 infected at the first round, imagine about forest, forest is hard innocent map, without the perk tree that balances infected it will be so bad, we need rankeds soon as it is possible and more maps, because the legacy game makes more people that played old times to come back but if there's no changes soon they will be leaving the game until something changes.

Playing the game with only 1 map it is so repetitive, if there were at least ranked games, people would be entertained by an objective.

There is also a problem for people who have been playing for a long time, which is always playing the same map and on top of that there are people who don't know how to play because they are casual, that's why we need ranked games whenever possible, it's normal that people don't know how to play because in many games you know who the infected is and you manage to knock them down several times but your teammates don't vote because they don't know how to play the game.

for picking up : instant revive first, then short cooldown
being able to jump on every props/ remove invisble walls in the stairs
Less ammos, add a cut instead of this weird thing that is most of the time bugged
Remove the cooldown for fuses
Rework on the light items that seem completely random/bugged as well
-Make vents actually useful for all the terrors ( removing the cooldowns)
Rework on the shotgun to make it dangerous

I don't really like 3rd person camera while downed. In D1 legacy it was 1st person and blurred, so you can't immediately start blasting after you got picked up - you need to understand what's happening first and only then start fighting(if neccessary). Basically the whole purpose of blur and 1st person cam was to limit the incoming information, which should be the case in D2 Legacy too

Seasonal Items

So, we know that Legacy is going to try to be a 1:1 copy of Deceit 1 Legacy, but the problem with this is that there's going to be a point where after getting all the maps, there's no more content to add to legacy.

Now what im suggesting is... Seasonal Items! To spice things up a bit!

Basically, each season, 2 items from the Standard mode will be added to the Legacy mode, after the season ends, those 2 items get removed and replaced by another 2 items. This way, you can have new metas and gameplays on each season, and you dont have to make any new item just for legacy.

It will also allow people to use the skins they get from either the shop or season pass, which is really cool! (For example the newest Decoy Master skin, which is useless since Decoy is not on legacy!)
