We've discussed things like this, but there are a couple problems that we'd need to address first. 1 is that typing in VR is currently abysmal. 2 is that any other type of messaging other than text is mostly a no-go. Now that Friends & Admin features are beginning to come online, and we have the potential to make features "Friends Only", maybe we can approach some more direct communication features that wouldn't be viable if allowed for all users to send to all users.
Definitely happy to hear any more ideas people might have re fun ways to communicate with friends in Bigscreen. Emphasis on FUN. 🙂

It’d be even better if you were just able to search the YouTube app yourself ingame, and then choose to “request videos” that the host can then choose to play, queue or skip

I've seen someone do this by not using the in-app YouTube, but by sharing their own screen and making their playlist collaborative. It would be better in-app but that seems to be a workaround
