This is something I'd like to see in a lot of social VR experiences, but It'd be nice if there were a way to "lock" our avatar to a particular seat regardless of physical position. I use passthrough a lot, and will get up and walk around, go to the kitchen, grab a drink, etc, and when I do, I'll have to leave the public room I'm in so I don't disturb everyone in the room. I'd would be great if I could toggle on an option to pin my avatar to a seat in the room while I walked around my physical environment.

There should be an allocated space for each seat withing which you can move around a bit, and when you leave it, the avatar snaps back to the default location and becomes translucent or something, indicating the person's left their space. The person themselves might also get a black screen when they go to far soi there's no creepy peeping toms or something, I'm not sure about this part...

I've been asking about the same feature in the Immersed app, and the solution that was recommended there was to possibly just add a button that would make your avatar go "invisible". When I get up to walk around, I'm in passthrough, as I'm doing something like going to the kitchen for a snack or some popcorn. If bigscreen could implement something like Immersed currently has where you can see your passthrough environment and still see just the screen itself, that would be amazing.
