Can no longer log into the game. The message "An unexpected error has occurred" appears.

I can't log in anymore. I've already deleted the game from Steam and reinstalled it via the Celeste Launcher, but it still doesn't work. I've also disabled the Windows 11 firewall—same result. What could be wrong?

Do you have any AV/Firewalls blocking the internet or restricting Launcher access from the internet?

Yes, I was able to open the link to the Celeste homepage. I'm only using Windows 11 security settings. I just disabled the three firewalls for Domain Network, Private Network and Public Network, but the problem persists. Until last week everything worked as usual and I haven't really changed anything.

I was very apprehensive about testing with VPN because I've never used one before. I installed hide.me, selected a server in London - and I can log in! Thank you, thank you, thank you. What could be the reason why I cannot log in from my location (East Germany)? Logging works with Frankfurt as the location in hide.me.
