I'm digging this idea! To potentially expand on this idea, the developers could make it so friends can have interactions and maybe challenge each other? Or maybe cooperate for some kind of mutual goal? The feature of adding friends really makes the game that much more interesting!

As with other similar events, I don't know if it would even be possible. Since games are all locally run, unless a save code is made, there's no way to connect two user accounts as it is right now. It would require a massive overhaul of the system.
