Timed challenge Issue

Persistent, I just got it, I tried restarting the game twice. Didn't work.

Gotcha! And when you got the rewards for the challenges, were you spamming/tapping very quickly?

I'm not sure how exactly it happened, but I would assume so?

I can see if I can try to replicate it again tonight. The reroll cookies are of no use to me anyways. Just collecting them up for new updates that could potentially bring more use for them.

I don't think it has anything to do with spamming/tapping very quickly with the challenge rewards. As long as you complete all ten task, you're able to collect them.

More specifically - you don't have to claim the rewards below it to claim the reroll cookies.

So I think it has to do with the counter. Perhaps rapidly completing multiple timed tasks at once messes the counter up and counts all the timed tasks you rapidly did as one?

I do know that it says you completed a timed task at the top of the screen, despite only doing one thing towards a task. For example; collect 12 milkshakes, after you collect one, it'll pop up at the top of the cookie collecting area saying you completed the timed quest, but when you go to check and claim the rewards it says 1/12. It's the same for all the timed quests, they all pop up at the top of the cookie collecting area saying task completed from just doing one thing contributing towards the task. That's why I think it might be an issue with the counter.

I think I may have found the source for this problem.

Basically I was playing trying to complete the timed challenge before the daily reset came, I was at 9/10 timed challenges completed. Then the daily reset came, it reset the daily rewards, as well as the timed rewards because I am now at 4/10 timed challenges completed.

However, you're still able to complete them again you just can't see your progress because you already completed it. Hence you have to do all the challenges again. I know this because now I'm at 5/10 after I did a god boosts challenge that I already had completed to test it.

So to summarize the timed challenge counter resets back to 0/10 if you haven't already completed all of them by the daily reset time. Which in hindsight makes sense considering that every known case of this "glitch" was reported at night after the reset happens for most people.

Ah, so the counter resets before the ending time of the timed challenges, as it resets the daily challenges. Did I get that right?

But it's only a visual reset and you can still do the timed challenges if you know what they are? Or rather, you can do them again to count them even though they're invisible I mean.

The daily reset, resets the counter, but the 4 hours timer on the timed challenges still continues on. I will attach a picture to try to show what I mean better.

It is kinda a visual glitch, as it resets the counter, however it kinda affects gameplay as well, since you have to do all the challenges again to bring up the counter. So unless you have enough time left on the timer to redo the challenges, the reroll cookie is lost, since you won't be able to get the counter to 10/10 to claim it. That's what happened to me, I only had about 30 minutes when I discovered the source of what causes this to happen, and unfortunately didn't have enough time to complete them all in time before it itself resets.
