#Trade Deadline Rumors and Trade Machines '26

wait lemme go look at stats real quick
Moody is younger and shoots better from 3, and Naji is averaging like 3 more PPG and rebounds better.
I still kinda prefer Moody, but I would still really like Naji too.
I have heard nothing but good things about naji
I think it would be fair
I have seen Mavs fans say some negative things lol. Unfortunately we cannot afford a flawless player
I disagree with everything yall said
Bobby to the Warriors for Moody and TJD seems like a good idea to me
I don't think we want Kuminga, but the Kings are rumored to want him. We should try and either get Keon Ellis or Moses Moody in that trade.
I know horst is gonna b aggressive with whatever the move is gonna be
hmm
sounds good
Onyeka makes more $ than BP.
Probably a worse fit next to G
better defender and younger, I think it would work, especially since we need our bench units to stop bleeding points
our guys are trending on fanspo
I just hope that those trades don't involve the first player in that list
Yes, Warriors and Bucks.
︀︀
︀︀We will have more on this after weekend conversations on @ClutchPoints.
Quoting Warriors Club BR (@WClubBR)
︀
@BrettSiegelNBA Hi Brett,
︀︀
︀︀Last year, even before Shams, you reported the Warriors' concrete interest in Schroder and then Jimmy Butler.
︀︀
︀︀Do you feel something similar right now with MPJ?
💔
If it’s between mpj lavine and ja I guess I’ll take it. At least plays the 3
all of this has made me irrational. I don’t want these people I want Trey
i like this
seems realistic too
but whos gonna be our bench center
the backup
Okongwu would be our backup!
idk 6,8?
Bobby plays like he is 6’6
So with the report saying that the Bucks and Warriors are the favorites to land MPJ, I came up with this involving all three teams. Picks may have to be involved, but I'm pretty sure it'd be the warriors giving the Nets one of their FRPs and us one of their SRPs
The only way this happens though is if the Warriors REALLY want Bobby along with MPJ, which I mean who knows
I feel like if the Nets actually wanted Kuminga they would've tried to sign him in the summer
I'd also be interested to see how many picks the warriors would have to send for MPJ
I can't imagine they'd get more than an FRP or two for him with his injury history.
But who knows, my perspective on trading picks has been warped since the Trae trade was announced.
imo if the Warriors get MPJ they will no longer be in the Bobby market
i thought that was kinda assumed
and if they cant get mpj, they are coming for bob
I really don't want to trade away Kuzma though, so even though I'd love MPJ the basketball player on our team, I wouldn't do it if it involves trading Kuzma.
Maybe I'm delusional, but I think Kuzma is as important to the success of this team as Rollins is.
One or both of our FRPs might have to be included, but thoughts on this?
I wouldn't do both of our picks for this, but I would do one protected FRP. Like maybe 2031 protected 1-5?
But do the Hawks do it? I don't think they do.
I don't think the Hawks want to get rid of Okongwu that badly. I kinda assumed those rumors about them being unsure about him was setting the table for an AD trade before he got hurt
Like I said, I'd do a protected first for this
Well now I need to look at a 3 team trade involving us, the Mavs, and Hawks.
Mavs aren't trading Davis until the summer now
yabusele on the market
another buy low I'd love to invest in
The Knicks have made Guerschon Yabusele available in trade talks, per @TheSteinLine
︀︀
︀︀“The Knicks entered Sunday's play at 6-7 since defeating San Antonio in the Dec. 16 Cup final in Las Vegas. League sources say that Guerschon Yabusele and Pacome Dadiet are available before the Feb. 5 trade deadline to potentially set the Knicks up to do some minor tweaking.”

Also, respectfully, Yabusele is THICC holy shit.
YES
Marc Stein mentions the Raptors as another destination for Ja
Stein disagreeing with Hollinger about MPJ def being moved

💀 💀 💀 💀
bucks better say no
KPJ fans will come up with anything to get rid of Rollins
this ^
When is the deadline?
feb 5
I’m just happy to be back on the cord and not working
really?
I think both are good
It’s crazy to me because we have a better chance at keeping Rollins lmao
question is, if league wants kpj.
a starter for most teams.
but, who doesnt have a 25yro guard, at about the same level as him
Ya Ja isn’t even much better this season at least
But he just wants out
Ja is so injury prone too
suspension prone
kpj plays D better than any of the big names the we are linked to
keep pushing the smaller names, and more affordable guys
im more interested in improving the bench guys and on the fringes
I hope you are passing them along
IF, theres a FRP to be acquired in a trade, then i could be convinced.
cause then we can trade 2 FRPs this summer + whoever, to get an impact player.
but then, wev probably have changed half the team.
usually not a good thing.
I'm not sure if the Rockets need a player like Ja, but I thought I remember hearing they needed a PG. Does this make sense if the Rockets were to send a pick or two...or three?
Grizz would be sending picks
I'm not sure Kuminga is a player on our team, in fact I'm leaning against it, but if we could get him for this would you do it?
https://fxtwitter.com/Fullcourtpass/status/2010789899012911562?s=20 Bucks can beat that offer imo
The Warriors trade offer for Michael Porter Jr, per @BrettSiegelNBA
︀︀
︀︀- Jonathan Kuminga
︀︀- Moses Moody
︀︀- Buddy Hield
︀︀- 1 first-round pick
︀︀
︀︀The Warriors do NOT want to give up two first-round picks despite MPJ being their top trade target
︀︀
︀︀(clutchpoints.com/nba/nba-stories/2025-26-nba-power-rankings-week-12-bucks-lakers-warriors-clippers-trade-deadline-pressure))
With what? Bobby, Kuzma, and who else? The only players that would make that package arguably better than the Warriors are KPJ and Rollins. Rollins is untouchable for me, and even though I'm open to trading KPJ I would want more back from the Nets. I guess we could give up both of our FRPs too, but I'm not sure we do that for MPJ.
If the Nets decide to hold onto MPJ until the offseason, the Warriors will probably pursue Bobby. If that's the case we should try and get Moody and either Post or TJD from the Warriors for him.
That being said, if I'm the Nets the only way I'm saying no to that package is if I really don't want Kuminga.
I think that's the case tbh.
I think the Bucks 31 first is a better asset for the Nets than anything in the Warriors offer
The question is, do we think MPJ is worth that FRP? The Trae trade has warped my perspective on the value of picks tbh.
I think so. MPJ is a wing who can shoot and rebound. Despite his injury history (very valid reason to not be interested in him at all), that archetype is way more valuable across the league than a small guard so naturally he has more trade value
It's also worth considering how Cam Johnson has fallen off since leaving Brooklyn and wondering if they kind of have a Miami Heat role player thing going on (guys falling off right after they leave that team/system)
With the recent report about the Pelicans maybe making Trey Murphy available, I came up with this. I think I went a little crazy with it though lol.
too much
Tbh if it gets us Trey Murphy I'd do it. Also, I've always liked Dejounte Murray.
Alternatively, this:
But I honestly think the Pelicans would be more inclined to do the first one since it saves them $11mil in cap space.
I mean if they were inclined to do any of these trades at all, which they probably aren't. I'm sure there are other teams willing to give more for Trey
If they want picks and young talent I don’t see them interested in anything we have at all
You're probably right, unless we include Rollins but I really don't want to do that.
it really depends how highly they think of trey
the fact that every team in the league wants him probably makes them hesitant to part with him for bobby portis
Lots of players to aim for from the hornets
Miles bridges /j
Bridges, Williams, Mann, Kalkbrenner, James, Diabate we should all check their asking price on
I mean Sims doesnt play now, worth gambling on another min C who is younger to see if he can crack the rotation
0 mins is less than or equal to zero or some mins
he probably should
only problem is fouling
I like the idea of taking bad money as a discout in the picks for a Trey Murphy trade. Would be much better if the Bucks had more expiring money to throw in than the Kuz & Bobby deals
I think the Pelicans would consider it if they were absolutely desperate to trade Trey (they aren't) and if they didn't get any better trade packages (they will).
They are in “blow me away with an offer and maybe I’ll think about it” mode
replace kuz and bob with turner and rollins and maybe
1:KPJ, 2: Rollins, 3: Giannis, 4: Turner, 5: JJJ
Bench: AJG, GTJ, Harris, Sims?
Jaren is worth 3 firsts at least
Also think that report is execs wishcasting that he will be available
NBA execs rn
JJJ is a player I'd ABSOLUTELY trade our FRPs for.
No we cant
we can but it involves turner rollins and or giannis
he doesnt even get stats anymore
Hes turned into a 3p shooter.
Doesn't do anything in the post or paint
i'd rather get clax than jjj
What about Jarrett Allen? I heard he's a pretty damn stand-up guy too
Bobby for Jarrett Allen works straight up
I dont want to sit on 3.5 years of allen making 100m
a whole bunch of nothing from Brett, but I largely agree with the last point
no one predicted any of our moves last year except for the Kuzma stuff which came from a DC beat reporter. Before that, no one could have predicted it lol. so I’m gonna sit back and enjoy the show
grant WILLIAMS come on down
horst remembers those playoffs in 22
been wanting him ever since
But what if Memphis wants to pay us to take Ja?
in a heart beat
Kuz declining, everything else expiring
I do that without the pick
We sign a couple guys off the street/Pete Nance to get back to a legal roster
Keep kpj
Give em gtj and a SRP
the only 2nd we have is a protected 31-55 from the jazz
The prospect of us trading for Ja has made me warm up to trading for Zach LaVine, especially since we'd most likely be getting other assets back as well. Here are two trades I threw together that would be ones I'd personally do. The trade where we don't get Keon Ellis would have to include getting back an FRP or two from the Kings, along with some SRPs. The trade where we do get Keon Ellis would maybe include an FRP, but still would have to include some SRPs. What are your thoughts on these?
Apparently Ja wants to go to Miami. I will insert the Bucks into every superstar trade I can at this point.
@thin sequoia please forward to Horst
there's also Ben Simmons somewhere on this planet
some of these are hella dubious so lmk if you hate any of the names
I'm pretty sure Keegan Murray got extended, isn't this supposed to be whose contracts are expiring?
LEGEND
Oh I see
they're generally "smaller moves"
PJ Washington isn't eligible for trade until after the deadline
I think some of these need a bit of a closer look, but it's not a bad list
Lol there's probably a lot more like that, I didn't check
Who would be worse to get back in a trade sending Bobby to the Warriors? Moses Moody and Buddy Hield, or Moses Moody and Al Horford?
I think buddy is good just because of how low his value probably is rn
I mean Moses Moody is good and the target player here, but I think we'd have to get back a yucky contract for it too.
My favorites from your list:
Yabusele
Battle
McCain
Risacher (Very Hard to get, would probably cost our first and KPJ)
Sochan
Dillingham (kind of hate it, but I'd take the gamble)
Knecht
Eason
S. Sharpe
Murray
Alvarado
Bey
Tbh I'd prefer getting back Horford since he'd play backup to Myles
Old though
I literally had a Fanspo of Bobby and KPJ going to the Hawks for Okongwu and Risacher, and I decided against posting it because I thought it was too unrealistic. But I mean, if we send a protected first idk.
I think jaylen wells would be a nice option unless there's something idk about him
I wouldn't send an unprotected first though. At most I'd do a swap
I think they want to turn risacher into a package with Tingus for a star of their own so I don't see us having a shot, but if we could I would love it
I think pretty much on the list though would help with something
as long as horst is looking into this and a big name idrc
but we need to make moves like this
I don't know much about wells. stats looks really good and his usage seems high, I guess affording him would be the hardest part
Maybe we don't hear about this stuff because "the bucks are aggressively pursuing Zeke Nnaji" is a bad headline
nothing substantial, there's been buzz around Zach Lavine, Ja, and MPJ though
if we were to make a big move they'd probably be the targets
a lot of trades have no rumors though
he's the only one on there that even makes some sense
I dont see how ja and zach would make sense
Yea
yeah lol
Solves some of our issueses a bit
treyIII is the perfect player but allegedly he's not available unless we give them something crazy
Yepp
It sucks
Were so limited tbh
No picks 😭
I made a list of smaller moves we could make that would improve our roster
Can i see it?
up here
Can we move cole anthony maybe
all good options
some team could probably use him. Hell we could use him but he got cut for a slump
I like mo wagner/drummond gradey d aswell
We need a backup center
Yepp
Toumani camoura
drummond does everything Myles doesn't do
idk where his value is at but yeah I like him a lot
But he rebounds way better
We need that
Id like jaden mcdaniels n clint capela aswell tbf
oh yeah Jaden McDaniels is the next closest thing to trey
Pj Washington aswell
apparently not available this deadline
Would be fantastic if we got
Him
@ruby gull I know you will like this
I think we just need forwards n centers tbf
maybe we could get McDaniels if we make an offseason trade
but atp we could probably get trey
Id love that
If we could i think we should
Maybe we could use a backup guard that doc will actually play
Truee
but wings are the main issue
We need size and rebounding
And someone who can lock up the other teams best players (jrue holiday type player)
I mean we have ajax and sims 🤷 I wish Doc used our roster better
Thats the thing tbh
G for bigs and kpj for guards is kind of a band-aid but we can definitely do better
We can get people but it wont help if doc dont plsy em
rylo is probably going that direction
Yea exactly
he should be the consensus lol
If he doesnt fall off after all star break
1st in deflections in the league and had the largest stat increase
Yea
If Dyson Daniels won maybe rylo can
Is bobby starting at c tonight?
probably but we don't know
Hed be a good addition aswell ngl
maybe doc will give sims a shot
Hope so but probably not
kinda redundant though
hes Ryan Rollins except older I think?
Less upside
oh no he's younger
holy shit he's shooting 11% from 3 on the season
Damn 😭
😭😭
number two scoring threat, rebounds, hustle guy, glue guy
Toumani camoura
we could use a real spark plug too if Cole & ajax dont cut it for doc
a guy like Clarkson but maybe not that elite
He is hustler can rebound alright and is great defensively
ideally we trade for a wing and use kpj as a spark plug, I'm super high on kpj but I think he'd thrive there
Same tbf
unless this experiment doc is trying changes his game a ton
just not whatever he's doing rn 😭
And he needs to give young players some playing time
ajax sims and Cole should really have at the very least single digit minutes
And now were 17-22
I do miss TP though
Yea same
He loves guys like Gary Harris and TP
Agreed i dont get why cole n sims dont get minutes alot
and tbf Gary Harris is great but we need to play with heart (especially in the no G minutes) and he can't do that
Is gary harris good
Havent been watching
really smart, good corner shooter, has some elite finishing but he's not super confident
good defensively
Sounds like a good pickup
he's a reliable contributor which I guess is what doc wants
Confidence is so important in sports
he should absolutely have minutes but idk about going 9 deep especially when bobby is at 20+ minutes a night
27th in rebounding damn
Yea its weird
I'm probably a bobby hater but he doesn't help our issues with hustling and energy
at least we're not last right
True
Idm bobby tbh
Hows amir coffey
I'd really really like to get Lauri
I think he's fine. He's out closest thing to a wing rn, completely out of the rotation though.
And whatchu think bout myles turner so far
he's contested shots one game this year
Yea
😭
I don't wanna say disappointing, I think he's just not in his groove yet
great amazing flashes of him next to giannis
and he has a 2 man game with AJ that's really random but cool
I like myles hes a better brook lopez but atm hes so inconsistent
That’s funny tbf
Random
I was so proud of him but he didn't do it again
Haha
He needs to settle in a bit more probably maybe
doc is using him terribly which doesn't help at all
Yea
his midrange shot has vanished which is weird because he was elite elite there
But doc uses alot of guys terribly
at least he gave AJ green some confidence
Lowkey didn’t know he had that
True hes been balling
yeah he was top 5 for multiple years I'm pretty sure
crazy to not use him for that
Ivebeen liking kyle kuzma this season ngl
pretty much everybody who's watched the games has (hopefully)
he's been amazing
Maybe cuz he doesnt rlly get chances for it/ giannis is in the midrange/paint area alot so it makes it harder
On defense aswell
Big improvement
Hes grown into his role well
he's sitting in the corner a lot of possessions 😭
also when doc got here brooks defense went from elite to terrible
not terrible but he wasn't anywhere near the top
Wait brooks?
@thin sequoia now this is what im talking about
mostly reasonable and all upgrades
Oh lol
Agreed i like him tbf
4 wings that make the most sense are Trey Murphy, Jaden McDaniels, Dillon Brooks, and mpj
Ok after last night's loss I'm officially on team "make a big trade for a legit second star" even if it does kill our depth. We get the secondary star this year, and then retool around them and Giannis next season.
If Giannis even stays, which after getting boo'd last night I'm not sure.
This is the best package of things I'd be willing to trade for MPJ. Maybe we also ask for Noah Clowney or Haywood Highsmith back as well, but anything else coming from the Nets would just be nice.
I'd also do this trade if the Pelicans were actually interested, but I don't think they would be.
I'd also do the same trade package as the one for MPJ but for Lauri Markkanen. We may be able to get back Kevin Love or Svi Mykhailiuk as well.
Me with these specific trade packages
I think this season may be a lost cause at this point, so this is what the best case scenario is for the next season:
During this season:
We trade for a secondary star on the wing (preferably Trey Murphy, MPJ, or Lauri Markkanen).
We just barely miss the play-in this year and get a lottery pick and select either a backup 3&D wing or a rebounding big.
During the offseason:
Fire Doc and hire a better coach.
Giannis decides to stay.
Rollins continues developing into a consistent starting caliber guard.
We fill out our bench with serviceable role players.
see those are the best options at wing
along Jaden McDaniels and Dillon Brooks
I mean I wouldn't mind those guys, but they're definitely on my B-list along with De'Andre Hunter if he somehow becomes available.
de'andre hunter is less proven imo
Dillon Brooks could be our main defender though and he's great for culture
imo brooks and Lauri are 1A, Trey McDaniels and MPJ are 1B
Oh wow you're way higher in Brooks then I thought. For me it's:
1A: Lauri and MPJ
1B: Trey and Brooks
2: Jaden McDaniels and De'Andre Hunter
I'm just not sure why the Suns, TWolves, or Cavs would trade those players right now.
he does everything. Glue guy, 20ppg, shot creator, amazing defender, hustles
But they'd probably trade Jalen Green before Dillon Brooks in that situation.
I guess he's not a great rebounder
but there a lot of guys that can rebound. Drummond just to name one
diabate
Would we have to trade our FRPs for Brooks? I mean I'd maybe do a protected pick or a swap, but not both of our picks and certainly not any unprotected ones.
I'd do one frp
bobby and some salary or maybe
bobby + kuz + somebody else for brooks and somebody else
Something like this?
yup
how does that make our defense worse 💀💀💀
that 8th grader must be pulling his weight or something
I don't think it's bobby
In terms of PPG in the current season:
12th Lauri Markkanen
17th MPJ
32nd Trey Murphy III
36th Dillon Brooks
43rd Jerami Grant
44th Zach LaVine
55th DeMar DeRozan
56th Ja Morant
62nd Jaren Jackson Jr
I like Lauri and Brooks because they're more than scoring
Lauri is a phenomenal passer, rebounder, he's super smart
mpj is okay with the rebounding but the defense is scary
Brooks is also like half the contract of mpj and Lauri which is great
probably not as much trade value as trey so we might not even have to give up kuz
plenty of assets remaining for trades during the offseason
I'm doing my best to manifest a Lauri Markkanen trade
That we know of
dillon brooks would be a dream man
would give us a culture and hes good at basketball unlike most of our team
I don't disagree, but I'm not sure why the Suns would trade him unless they really wanted Bobby Portis.
Yep
Thats the thing
And i doubt they would really want Bobby Portis
Realistically, who would?
They said he will be back to bench when green returns
So maybe vibes get bad and they move him
The Warriors. Pretty much any team that wants a floor-spacing big on a good contract.
maybe we could pick up a moses moody?
or jk?
I actually really want that. I've said multiple times the dream is Bobby for Moody and either Quentin Post or Trayce Jackson-Davis
Please no jk. Can’t even play next to curry
I thought Moody was a decent 3&D wing? Or are you thinking of Kuminga, because I don't really want Kuminga.
Kuminga isnt ideal but hes something
Im thinking of just wings
I'm still on team Markkanen, but I'm not sure how available the Jazz are making him. I haven't really heard anything about them entertaining offers this trade season.
Jim said it was basically a no go
Then my second choice is MPJ unfortunately
see, we've got options
plenty of good coaches out there too
beno udrih right there
Rollins/AJ/Brooks/G/Turner with a new coach going into next year?
it's not a guarantee but it's a good shot
or any wing like him
the wizards better fucking waive khris so we can snag him 🙏
They're probably not going to since he's an expiring contract.
Nets probably want more if they take on both players not expiring
that and then we just swap some bench guys for a sparkplug that another team gave up on
do the kings want to trade Keon Ellis?
idk why they don't play him like at all
he played 5 minutes last night so they probably don’t want him for whatever reason
crazy work
Ooh I like this one, but we may have to send our other first to the Kings
I like Keon and think he will be great on another team but Horst or any other gm has to negotiate and say how the hell is he worth a swap or a 1st when you guys barely play him
I don’t mind this at all, Naji has been pretty inconsistent tho?
do this and than filp KPJ for a cheap wing 🙏🏾 and fire Doc of course
it might be worth sharing this in general!
Article also mentioned how Memphis would want Rollins and 2031 aka Ja is staying in Memphis
Memphis can fuck off
Kpj and 2026 swap is all they can get
Keon Ellis is listed as a lot of heights… Je appears to be somewhere between 6’3” and 6’6”
Would you be okay with getting Zach LaVine if it also meant getting Keon Ellis?
We get someone who can reliably score the ball and a promising young, defensive wing. The Warriors get off of Kuminga and get Bobby who they apparently have been interested in since the offseason. The Kings get Kuminga who they've been rumored to be interested in, and they get off of LaVine's contract. I also don't think this would take any picks to do either.
If the Bucks were gonna make a trade that didn't need to involve any future draft picks, this is the one I think we should make.
For some reason I thought Keon Ellis was 6'6", but he's listed as 6'4" so I suppose that makes him more of a guard.
Checkout the latest stats of Keon Ellis. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, draft status, shoots, school and more on Basketball-Reference.com
Either way though, I still think it's not that bad of a deal.
I prefer the version where we keep Kuz and get Monk instead of Lavine with Ellis but it's unclear if Ellis has the size to play SF in what would otherwise be a log jammed back court
answer is
4 FRPs + 2 starters.
and if theyr not high level enough starters, throw in a young promising player still with years of control.
and Y is that NOT enough?
because we DONT have enough of our own picks the next 4 seasons.
so, we would have to trade the 2 starters we got back for G + anyone else on our team who can get us a FRP. so we can have at the very least 8 FRPs the next 4 years, while massivley tanking, so the few FRPs that we have of our own, are top 6 selections.
No options for 2 or 1 FRP’s?
why would we ever do that
The number of picks depends on the players we get back
10 firsts if we get lavine back. Zero if we get Sga and jdubs back
you'd probably need to trade for G after the lottery to even make a compelling offer
🤔
what the ACTUAL FUCK
its a masterpiece aint it
delete it before everybody sees this shit
😭
So I'm looking through team's payrolls and trying to find bad contracts they might be willing to trade alongside one of their younger players, and probably wouldn't cost picks. These are the players of note so far:
Rockets: FVV
76ers: Paul George
Blazers: Jrue Holiday, Jerami Grant
Heat: Terry Rozier
Clippers: James Harden
Pelicans: Jordan Poole, Dejounte Murray
Kings: Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan
Grizzlies: KCP
Hawks: Kristaps, CJ McCollum
Bulls: Patrick Williams
This fire
what the fuck 😭😭😭
poole party
PGs contract is so bad man lmao
it's scary
plus who knows how much he'll actually play
myles is better next to G
we patch one hole and open another
I feel like patching up center play is easier than wings
wait til the off-season. Use our draft capital to trade for trey murphy
there we go 👍
fire doc rivers and hire probably Michael Malone or somebody like him
unless we can draft AJ dybantsa we better trade that pick
Peterson is better
is he a wing?
or could we at least get away with playing him there
actually looks like boozer might be the best fit
regardless unless it's like top 4 we should really trade it
Are we really in the running to get a top 4 pick?
no lmao
we'd have to get lucky
but the Mavs did it and the hawks before them
we are where they were
And I'm not sure how lucky we actually want to be. If our pick is better than the Pelicans, it goes to the Hawks and I think we get the Pelicans pick.
yeah
we need the pels to get lucky too
well
we need their pick to be good
but then we can trade their pick to them or use their pick
pretty sure right know as things stand they can't fall below 6
One Philly first is nowhere near enough to take on the contract of Paul George
They'd have to be giving up the Clippers picks they own for me to even consider it
We are not trading Myles. Not after what we did with Dame just to sign him.
and because he's good but y'know
How many picks for gianni
7
10
8
Trading giannis?helll no
Think the Celtics go hard for a center with the Tatum news?
i didnt see what the Tatum news is
I saw them linked to JJJ
I don't get how they're gonna be able to do that without trading Derrick White
Keep losing

He will help
5 guards and only 1.5 of them can handle the ball 😭
We need to get rid off guards
Keon s not our savior
We should move some gs
Maybe even kpj if it means we get a sd
Sf
Kris Murray DNP for the Blazers, I see Bucks fans online wondering if he could be a buy low trade
Would actually make a lot of sense imo
Send it in
Him and Grant in the same deal would not be a bad deal for the bucks imo
Combine that deal with this one, maybe subtract the pick we'd get, and I think the Blazers at least think about it.
Something like this
This would be a perfect trade to send some of our SRPs to them, if we had any to send
All this being said, I'm coming to terms with the fact that we're not going to do anything until the offseason. We'll probably shoot for a lottery pick, restructure the team a bit, and then make a big trade
I’m not interested in Jerami so
I mean I really like him, but not on that contract
Good
We need more sf this doesn't help
Hold up, there is a starting caliber SF on a team that just went 2-11 that needs to lose a key piece to avoid the second apron in upcoming years on an oversized deal with too many years
(Bobby routed somewhere for expiring money)
(Opens roster spot for Nance)
Just need the Knicks to keep up the slide
Rollins/KPJ
AJ/Harris
OG
G/Yabu
Turner/Nance
I do not think the Knicks are going to trade OG or Mikal Bridges anytime soon, but if they were they'd probably be more keen on moving Mikal.
Defo makes us slightly better
I'd rather sign a forward than trade for one
But no one looks like they're getting waived soon
How does this benefit New York
They avoid second apron trajectory but more likely they need to dump KAT if this core is a dud
I think the Warriors may need to send a pick or two to the Kings for this, but if they're going to try and salvage the season this could work.
@turbid gazelle had mentioned maybe the Mavericks, but I couldn't get it to work without including Kyrie
Cooked but idk if the kings would do that
Surely makes us better
But still doesn't change much
We gttq keep kuz and bobby while getting a solid wing
Sounds hard but it's the only way
If amir Coffey could provide 10ppg
I made this post over in #🇺🇦│general but I also wanted to link it here. It's about potential targets for a KPJ trade. If you want to discuss, let's do it here since it kinda got buried where I orignially posted it. #🇺🇦│general message
Ok last Warriors trade even though they said they're going to try and play with Kuminga now that Jimmy is out. Throw a pick (protected?) at the Mavs and I think they do it.
The Warriors get their star big they've been trying to get for years, they get a Klay reunion so he can ride off into the sunset with Steph and Draymond, and they get a wing to fill in the hole that Jimmy left a little bit. The Mavericks eat Jimmy's contract, but they also get two young players with a lot of potential upside, and also potentially a pick if it comes to it.
Gonna have to be multiple picks Mavs taking on 2 big contracts and tbh I think Kumingas a bum
Well podz sucks aswell but you get the idea
Klay back to GSW is wicked work
I think that Kuminga has a good amount of potential, but the Warriors just weren't giving him the chances he needed to grow imo. The Mavericks may be able to give that to him. Podz has been decent so far, at least going by stats.
Anyways, back to the Bucks, I think this is a realistic trade that both teams would be inclined to do. The Bucks get a decent, young, 3&D wing and the Rockets get a decent, young PG.
Idk if you watched the recent interview done by the GSW gm but from what he said theirs basically 0 demand for him at all. I just cant see him leaving because nobody wants him. And Butler being now the worst contract in the league I think theyd have to drop multiple FRP atp
I gotta watch Kumingas tape but im pretty sure I heard about him regressing
Kuminga has the size and position SF, and the athletic ability, every team wants
BUT, his shooting %s and bball decision making, are huge questions
Not bad
I hate saying this
But if kpj plays well
Might as well trade him for good sf
And after looking at that list I made, Tari Eason seems like the best, most realistic target. I'm pretty sure the Rockets need a PG, and we need a wing. Tari Eason is 6'8", 215lbs, and shoots 47% from 3 on 4 attempts per game.
Checkout the latest stats of Tari Eason. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, draft status, shoots, school and more on Basketball-Reference.com
He's also averaging 6 rebounds per game (2 offensive, 4 defensive).
He's honestly perfect for us.
we also need a second option
and it would be great if our second option happened to be a wing because AJ and Myles are perfect
Does anyone have Horst's number? We need to run this by him ASAP.
he's a bench 3 lol
and kinda redundant with TP
I do.
But haven't ever used it
he would be our starting 3 but we should be shooting higher
Now is that time.
I don't think we can with only trading KPJ. If we included picks, then yeah sure, but I don't think the Bucks are going to trade any future picks until Giannis signs an extension.
@sharp sedge check this post I made and see if any of the other names stand out to you.
lets ride
We should remove kuz and turner
Giannis request that trade
Maybe this year's pick lol
We cant even trade it until draft night anyways
Exactly haha
I mean, I don't want to see this happen, but those later picks could be great.
#🇺🇦│general message so apparently there's a rumor out there that the Raptors are going to try and shave some salary to avoid the tax. These are probably wishful thinking, but I can't help myself from making trade machines. We may have to include a protected FRP in either of these, but if that's the case then I don't think we should. Our FRPs should be untouchable until Giannis signs an extension.
Rj Barrett one makes sense.
I LOVE that u said
"Our FRPs should be untouchable until Giannis signs and extension "
Before the season started, Kuzma for RJ was the trade we kept doing bc it saves the Raptors money. Unfortunately I don’t see much point now unless we get a pick
Also don’t think the raptors will make a big change like that bc they are somewhat good. They are shopping Ochai bc of his tiny contract
I would say Ochai for Ajax but they want a big so ???
Am I wrong though? We've already shown we're committed to him numerous times. If he wants us to mortgage anymore of our future he needs to show he's committed to us.
Ochai for Sims lol
I'm saying you're 100%, correct. That's exactly how this should play out.
If we give that 2031 FRP and G leaves or is traded, we have fucked ourselves
The only way I'd trade our FRPs without Giannis signing an extension is if we trade for a relatively young all-star caliber player we could build around, but there's no way we're getting one of those for what we have asset-wise.
Love that RJ idea
this wouldn’t be all in one trade but yea #OperationSaveGiannis #AnotherDayAnotherTradeMachine
I'm still trying to manifest this actually happening (as long as Giannis is going to sign an extension). At this point I'm just gonna make it my phone background.
This appears to be the Warriors best offer. Still don't want to see it
Makes us win more but no issues solved on 1st 2nd one also better but issues aren't rlly fixed
yikes i wouldn’t like that. those early picks and swaps are likely very late 1sts
Id want kuminga honestly as well
But i dont love any trades im seeing from the reported interested teams
Warriors even with Giannis would still be a mediocre team in the west and Steph is probably retired within the next 3 years those picks would be great
is mpj worth allat for the warriors
This is the minimum for Giannis here
