#Draft 2024: Should the Bucks draft Zach Edey if he's available?

Based poll
Youāll all see
Iād rather be wrong about him on another team than right about him here
I get the argument, but Iām gonna say no if it takes #23
If heās still on the board at #33 I would be good taking him there
why
u think he can work with giannis?
defenses would just build the great wall
I just believe, thatās all
if edey can hit mid range
then i could be persuaded
our offense would be goofy as fuck
edey screens for dame
bang
or if he can get 20 rebounds a game, thatd be great for our brick shooters
I mean he could just play 15 minutes a game when Giannis is sitting
For now
And work on his outside shooting over time
He strikes me as a hard worker
And just in general, guys who are that size that arenāt complete dumbasses when it comes to basketball are hard to come by
We have galo
?
Alright Iāve watched some combine tape and did some reading and Iām switching. Iād be good if Edey was drafted at 23
People are comparing him to Garza and Timme, but itās really not like that
Because those guys are undersized for the NBA and Edey would be, what, the second tallest and heaviest nba player?
But heās noticeably faster and more agile than the other super giant guys of the past few years like Boban and Tacko
And that combined with his very fundamentally sound offensive game makes him make sense to me
Good analysis. It all depends on how "if" horst wants him
And if we get lucky we get him
Exactly my thoughts
Edey isnāt just incredible big, heās incredibly big while being a good basketball player
You dont get players like him often
And the fact that he improved year to year in college shows that heās a hard worker and will work on his skills during his time in the NBA with all the resources available to him
I think we might actually. I know there was a leak a couple of years ago saying Horst was interested in drafting Walker Kessler
We all assumed it was a smokescreen at the time, because obviously we werenāt thinking of drafting a non-shooting big, right?
But looking back at the picks since then, it probably was genuine interest and he just got drafted a couple spots early
new nba is way too fast for Edey to be productive.
wer already a slow team.
i dont want Edey at all.
theres 5 to 6 other bigs i like at both of our picks, and would prefer over Edey
Those long legs cover a lot of ground
Alright then
Honestly I think if he really works hard he can be a Zubac level player
Top 10 is crazy though
Like when I say I have faith in him, what I mean is that he can be a good rotation guy if he works hard, not top 10 draft pick
What's with this draft this year man it's so squishy
i am strongly, against, drafting Edey
yea
it would be a good post giannis move
but sounds like hes gonna be a lottery pick
whole league is getting smaller and faster
3p shooting has high value now
everything is, beat your defender off the dribble, and if help comes, find open 3p shooter
I bet you none of those things happen
Good luck moving that contract
Also saying trade Bobby because we have Ajax and they play 2 different positions is funny
Not to be that guy but do people actually think when they make crazy takes
I atleast back mine up with logical points
No. They don't
If I had to bet, Iād say theyād use Pat to match salaries and add one of the young guys to add value + maybe a pick or two to get a depth trade done
I don't think we can combine salaries in a trade anymore
I keep forgetting
Nice name is it the same color as the bear in your pfp?
If so that explains alot of your crazy idea's
