he should be in the UFL
broncos fans: oh thank GOD we don't have to watch wilson suck at qb anymore
the broncos:
Different kinda of sucking at least
The UTSA Broncos
The fall of the broncos needs to be studied
Won a superbowl then made every wrong decision they could
well, they tried to do what they did with manning
pick up an aging qb with a ring and then see if you can get one more out of him
issue is he fell off and you didn't have a top defense
the H is very... seattle kraken but i think it's as close to the oilers as they could get without the titans throwing a hissyfit
See Broncos that’s how you rebrand
Comparing them side by side, great job by them
WHAT
whyd he get it back
lmao "oh this is above board now? sure reggie you can have this back"
fuck the NCAA and the Heisman Trust
that last sentence is CRAZY
heisman trust wrote this article 💀
what a thinly-veiled attempt at currying public favor
yeah this article is fucking gross
Cincy can't have anything nice smh
no surprises top 4
falcons taking ||penix??????||
bruh i have NO IDEA
he's going to be 28 YEARS OLD at the end of kirk's contract
love didn't even turn 25 until halfway through this season
theyre trying to recreate matty ice in the aggregate
raiders wtf
you took michael mayer last year, have the option of the first defensive player off the board and you took bowers??
but
well they didn't give up shit
i hate that i have to root against JJ now
but unfortunately he's a bust 🫡
oh did they? Guess it was only one spot, I completely missed the pick
hang on i'll find the trade details
Jets give up: 1-10, 6-203
Vikings give up: 1-11, 4-129, 5-157
give up a 6th to gain a 4th and a 5th so the vikings can take a guy that made no impact on their pick
Yeah lmao did they really think the jets would take him?
I guess it wouldn’t have been the worst move for them, Rodge is getting up there
indy no 😭
they wanted to make sure that the broncos and raiders couldn't
ah good point
Few more picks till DeJean 🙏
i want him but i think the eagles yoink him tbh
I thought we’d trade up with Seattle for him tbh
I just want the packers to pick so I can go to bed
vikings just traded up to 17 with the jags
JJ McCarthy is going to be the biggest bust this draft mark my words
as a michigan fan i hate you
as a packers fan this is the way
bro got carried to that National Championship
His ceiling is Brock Purdy
bro no way
This very much looks like Terry Fontenot trying to explain himself #Falcons #NFLDraft
FUCK the steelers
Uh didn’t the falcons pick up Kirk cousins
I have not paid much attention to nfl off season

this was his make or break year too
the GM i mean
this is his 4th draft
so in the 1sts he's drafted kyle pitts (underused), drake london (underperforms), bijan (underused), and now a backup qb that will be 26 by the time he can even THINK about starting
lmfao
Atlanta gives a QB off a torn Achilles $180M and then drafts a QB in the top 10 that has had multiple season ending injuries and will be 24 in a couple weeks?
not a smart pick
has this been brought up yet?
buffalo WYD
doing it to themselves smh
couldve picked a wr themselves but gifted one to the chiefs for free
they moved up a round basically
And now they’re out of the first round altogether
what is beane cooking
man wants a 5th year option on someone
Kirk signed a 4 year deal Penix will almost be 28 by then
No way they plan to sit him for four years right? But then that Kirk contract is eh
you can cut kirk after 2 years for $25M dead cap
which is basically nothing at this point
most likely option is that penix starts his 3rd season as a 26 year old
Is there a chance they trade him?
as of rn theres no real point speculating too much
it all depends on how penix pans out and if kirk comes back from the achilles
a lot of variables
kirk? i mean if they wanted to trade a 38 year old in 2 years then more power to them
if they do plan to move on after 2 years it's at least going to be better than cutting him
see if you can get an asset back, eat the $25M dead, save yourselves $30M and get a 2nd or something
It’s just really weird that they got Cousins and then draft Penix
Man.... Caleb Winniams is my QB
Since we already have the best roster ever constructed. Might as well let the Packers catch up (I do love the picks you guys took)
Bullard, Hopper, etc
packers drafted legendary 2022-23 cotton bowl winner michael pratt so we had the secret to defeat 2022-23 cotton bowl loser caleb williams
I like Pratt a lot
jeez 💀
lol
hes gonna be the one who always throws laterals on the last kickoff of the game
Dang they got an interesting WR room now
an old one
super bowl champ to out of the league speedrun any%
yeah a month ago he got arrested for at least somewhat causing a 6 vehicle crash by going 119 in his lambo to race a college receiver going 116 in their corvette, injured 7 people
Rice turned himself after police issued warrants for one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and six counts of collision involving injury
bruh
he definitely could have gotten away with a slap on the wrist for the crash
but this after the crash?
man's gone
hit and run is a federal offense
Wtf
new lions jerseys are so dope, so glad they went back to classic block numbers
god damn, goff getting 4/212 with 170M guaranteed
jeez
then what will Love get 👀
probably similar tbh
53M/yr but with some more guarantees than goff
Damn all these chiefs players really letting their true selves fly in the off season
more like harrison bumker
harry-son's buttker

Sources: The #Steelers will host the #Chiefs in Week 17 on Christmas Day — a game that will be exclusively on Netflix.🎄🏈
Quoting Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate)
Netflix is finalizing a deal to acquire exclusive rights to stream both NFL games on Christmas Day this upcoming season, per Bloomberg.
Netflix is expected to purchase the package for ...
Sweet I can go from trashy Netflix Christmas movie to football
But if the packers aren’t playing on Christmas idc
Yeah the nfl is super giving the finger to the nba with more Christmas games
Ew
https://fxtwitter.com/chargers/status/1790895458581467314 they got butker in the kitchen
should we REALLY make our schedule release video in the sims?
yes yes yesyes
yesyes yes yes yes
yes yes yes yes yes
yes yesyes yes yes
yes yesye yes yes
yes yes yesyes
if the chargers were as good as their social media team, maybe theyd be a dynasty by now
related
Some of the team lore went over my head but the best was the end with Aaron rodgers getting a radioactive 5G baby
And that’s a sentence I never thought I’d type
also i missed the butker thing the first time damn they made that in a hurry
He’s always been like that
Patrick Mahomes tried to tell us about Harrison Butker
Didn’t realize this was the same guy
Swifties get him
Hits to the head don’t make you a scumbag
Watching the end of that Butker video made me think of Death Note for some reason
"......homemaker"
WWWW
(not going to watch it)
cowboys sweating
10 bucks says lamb and dak both walk
my nonsense brain says dak is a raider and lamb is a patriot or a colt
LOL these bozos don’t even play in the snow
Ahahah
Are those home or away alternates
Plz show up to lambeau in January in those
Not sure, NFL alternates usually are for home, but if they’re white anyways they could maybe wear them away?
saw someone saying they're wearing them week 15 in seattle
Booooo
this is appropriation tbh
get outta here dome bozos
vikings could never
issuing a retraction on my previous statement
they're wearing them bears @ vikings MNF
7-10 has never looked so good
Texans winning it all I see
Packers rookies Jayden Reed & Dontayvion Wicks combined for:
🔥 103 rec
🔥 1,374 yds
🔥 14 TDs
This offseason the 2 rented out a VRBO in Fort Lauderdale & trained together for 2 months

Larry McCarren asked Quay Walker if the Packers are in a good spot right now.
“Mr. Larry, I’d be lying to you if I said we wasn’t because honestly, I done been on a championship team and I understand that it’s college and this is the NFL, but chemistry is there already … that’s a good, good sign.”
this season feels good
also KC and JLove have said they are working on and want extensions
and i forgot abt packers chat
all the media that's come out from the team players is so positive
The vibes r immaculate rn
That's it
That's a fire helmet ngl
Yeah I hate to love it
Hawt
Tyreek, Kupp, and Pickens/Olave (pick your poison here)
Kupp should be higher in the money column.. steal
olave a steal too
It's probably cause he has lost a step
If it's just 3 WRs ima go with jjetas, nico, and keenan
But stroud
But what
stroud the fraud
I’m not spending Christmas watching stroud
i spend most of christmas driving usually
I want to watch Giannis get revenge against a team that beat us this year
Which is no doubt what they’ll do
See if Adam silver has the chutzpah to put a Christmas game in Milwaukee or Indy
Only 3 hours
Perfect nap time after a big meal
yea i think kupp should still be in the $5 tier or at the very least swap puka/kupp, he was basically rehabbing all of last season
dk for $2 and mhj/odunze for $1 is solid value too
10 rome odunzes 🗣️

Man, I forgot Mike Williams went to the Jets
He did?
he did 😭 istg there’s way too many moves in NFL free agency, players lowkey be jumping more than NBA as of late

I haven't been following the nfl as of late so seeing all these players on different teams at the start of the season is going to be insane
Forgot Hollywood Brown went to kc
Derrick Henry Ravens hit me yesterday, I was like oh yea
Swift on the Bears, I’m like huh.. forgot abt that 😅
It only sets in once week 1 arrives ig
WAIT @zealous osprey why df I forget Keenan went to Bears too lmao
Yeah, I've only kept up with the bears signings lol
oh right that’s your team haha
Diontae Johnson a Panther, Jeudy a Brown, Antonio Gibson a patriot, Ekeler a Commander
I remember all these moves when they happened yet they feel new again lol
Only remember the Ekeler signing lol the rest is new to me
😂😂
All these moves really won’t set in for me until week 1
Ridley on the Titans, so is Pollard
And sneed
Pollard too???
😂
And boyd
What the titans doing 💀
Traffic tho
Damn
@zealous axle let's move conversation here
It's a pretty big gap
I bet Hutch has a better pass rush win rate
Other than that? Sacks, tackles, TFL, FF, theyre all pretty much within the margin of error there. The only exception there is Walker and even then Walker is a much better pass defender which could lead to some more complex schemes.
Like im not gonna deny that Hutch is better but to imagine that the gap is insurmountable for them is nuts especially after bounce back seasons like these
as for win rate I would too imagine Hutch is better
As i said he's way better at getting to the QB but thats not the only job for them as players
It's not insurmountable but it's just unlikely walker becomes as good as hutch
Walker was a raw prospect who jumped up due to his athleticism
Walker needs a massive jump this season
No from this year
Terrible
Sad
goddamn RIP
🙏
@zealous axle @muted valley Is Russ a top 15 qb all time?
Probably not
no
classic HoVG quarterback
im sure you can make a stastical argument that he is but it'll just fall flat to me because you watch him play past 2020 its clear he was just kinda washed
Definitely not
like, from my POV, if russ IS a top 15 guy then why not Joe Flacco or Carson Palmer too?
Some guy really tried telling me he was better then Warner Unitas and Rivers lol
I could be convinced about Rivers but thats it
And its not really Rivers fault either he was just on a cursed franchise
Even if you don’t think Rivers is top 15 Staubach and Tarkenton are easily better
tarkenton for sure
Rivers was statistically one of the worst QBs in the playoffs
Yes the chargers were and still are a poverty franchise but Rivers isn’t innocent in all that either
just historically the chargers are shit in the playoffs
even drew brees couldnt do shit and he got basically handed a superbowl
like the last time they even won a playoff game was 2018
Chargers let him go after suffering an elbow injury I believe and let him bet on himself
and the last time they won multiple was 2007
Clearly a mistake obviously but Rivers wasn’t all that bad of a replacement
I believe Harbaugh will change the franchise around
I wanna have faith in him, I do, but that team is hilariously bad and Harbaugh has been out of the NFL for a damn decade
Offense is obviously horrendous and d is absolutely a question mark but I just somehow believe him and Herbert can turn it around
although to be fair to the chargers, it was a bit more than a shoulder injury. guy dislocated his shoulder, tore his labrum and had a partial tear of his rotator cuff.
russ isnt a top 15 guy by any means but comparing him to palmer and flacco feels disingenuous too
that shit wouldve been a career ender in the past
imo hes in that borderline top 30 area with guys like newton/rivers/ryan
i mean im a bit of a russ denier
Russ is better then Cam ngl
hes for sure not a top 15 guy but I honestly just kinda see him as smart kyler
He’s def not better then matty ice though
yea i dont think hes as good as the stats say he is or ever peaked higher than a fair bit of qbs, but he's been consistent for like a decade as a premier dual threat qb
I think Seattle just did a really great job at hiding his flaws, like Ben said after 2020 he fell off a cliff production wise
nah its about like 8 years and even then the dual threat thing started to go away towards 2018
not to say he couldnt move but it wasnt like prime russ at all
it was so annoying watching him refuse to throw balls away lol, like the bad rap seattle's oline got was basically because he'd rather take a sack than lower his comp %
i mean 8 years is still an insane amount in terms of longevity, a lot of great qbs only have 4-5 years of elite play before they fall off
Yup dual threat guys just are never that great of a passer
Cam, Vick, same shit with Lamar (though he has improved as a passer)
well yeah but that lines up with a guy like Joe Flacco or Carson Palmer.
out of all those guys give me Cam
palmer had like 3 years of good play including 2015, maybe if he didnt have those injuries he would've had a similar trajectory but as it stands russ's production is far superior
Yup modern day Josh Allen though not as good of a passer
like if its between Big Throw Joe, dangeRuss, and Palmer at the peak of their powers im choosing Russ, right, but if i gotta build around a guy based on what they can do? eh idk man
Palmer is disingenious ill say more that I think about it
prime cam was incredible, its a shame he tailed off quick after 2015 cause he was one of the most fun qbs to watch
if he managed to stay healthy I think the guy wouldve gone on a revenge tour and won probably 2 rings
but thats all speculation
if carolina kept up anywhere close to 2015 form then they mightve been able to win in 2018/2019, although i feel they'd only win 1 out of the 2
but i can see it
I mean the defense probably gets worse but if youve got cam and someone to catch cam newton piss missiles then shit
i could see him probably beating the pats in 2019, just on the basis on mobile QBs being the bane of Bill's existance
i would say they probably make it in 2017 and 2019
win 2019 and barely lose in reg to the pats in 2017
i feel like atlanta was repping the nfc in 2017 no matter what, they were a juggernaut
if they made it in 2018 they couldve won too, pats defense that year was mid iirc
it was but you had healthy gronk, brandin cooks, dion lewis' one healthy season, and not quite washed up Amendola
like people forget it cost the eagles damn near everything to beat the team
brady quite literally had the greatest superbowl performance of all time
i mean assuming they still get CMC
they only got CMC because they sucked ass cheeks after going 15-1
(though in classic riverboat ron fashion he did basically nothing else besides use CMC)
panthers are the most volatile team in terms of standings so it probably wouldve happened regardless
i guess they couldve gotten dalvin cook
they basically just swap their wins/losses every season and call it a day
i hope theyre good this year
who was that damn moron running the show
frankie the 4th?
yeah lol
damn near all of that teams problems are just blocking
team cant do shit as long as tepper insists on being as hands on as he is anyways
like when bryce young actually had blockers his passer rating went up damn near 50 points lmao
hes not as bad as people think, yet
one or two more seasons of being sacked 50 times as basically NFl muggsy bogues, he'll be shit
i mean he was a top prospect for a reason, but if he doesnt get a consistent system in place around him it's joever
NFL teams when they realize that the coaching lazy mary isnt the solution
(the jags'll never figure it out, Belke cant read)
baalke will always have my respect for demolishing the niners, if only for a little while lol
Nah the team is a dumpster fire all around
Literally anywhere you look offense, defense, STs are all abysmal
I like the 5 different head coaches in 5 years strategy
Anyone in here want to join our fantasy league in #1141506819202744412 ?
I’d do it again
@zealous axle You think Caleb is going to be the best QB out of the first 3 selected?
i give him the highest chance of success
if im gonna be honest, i think daniels has the worst situation because the guy is addicted to running into sacks, on a roster that got sam howell sacked 60 times running for his life
I agree I think there’s just no way he busts
theres always a chance because that coaching staff is...ehh
That’s such a stacked WR room for a rookie to be working with but knowing chicago they’ll still fuck it up
Same with JJ
but id say at worst, he just turns into cutler with wheels
We’ll know real fast if they’re ass this season
Def should’ve cleaned house this summer
Bo nix got no chance at all though lmao
overdrafted, on a team that traded away all their offensive talent and drafted basically just him to fix that, but its all okay because sean payton???
They drafted franklin who went to oregon too so they have a connection, Mims has potential as well but other then that it’s looking pretty grim
Sutton looks to be on his way out
im not particularly sold on franklin. big tyquan vibes.
They panicked and reached because every other QB was getting taken
I hate that teams do this
Agreed
Penix was the biggest reach of the draft imo
probably, but at least that made "sense"
kirk is coming off a big injury, hes old, and theyve got a lot invested in him. worst case scenario he gets hurt again, they release him, plug and play Penix
Not necessarily
Why pay Kirk $100m guaranteed if all you was going to do was draft a QB when you could’ve gotten a bridge guy in Gardner or Darnold
Hell they gotten could’ve gotten Howell for a 5th
I’d also say most likely he holds up, he’s been an iron man throughout his whole career prior to the Achilles and there’s a decent sample size of QBs coming back from that kinda injury
well just looking at the guys within reason, youve got Odunze and Bowers (you dont really need more receivers), you dont really need a lineman in Fashanu, and McCarthy is a project at least compared to Penix. They couldve taken Turner or Latu but for some reason, probably injuries, they fell.
Edge would’ve been the much more sensible pick imo
Then again ATL can’t develop pass rushers to save their life so most likely it wouldn’t have panned out
i think the worry is that they end up with like a Beasley Jr McKinley or a guy who cant stay healthy like Keanu Neal
and if both these guys already have injury histories, probably better they dont given their luck
(from the falcons POV)
That’s the thing though Penix specifically has a very alarming injury history so why not take the bigger team need who also doesn’t have as much of an extensive injury history
They did address edge in the later rounds but I just feel as if was a reach imo
Qb is damn near the one position theyve had some luck at
barring Ridder, naturally
they probably shouldve just traded the pick but from their team needs standpoint, kind of a rock and a hard place
Which first round WR are you most highest on
MHJ
People say Pearsall was a reach but I honestly think it wasn’t the worst move considering Aiyuk might be on the move
Nabers is a 50/50 to me, and Odunze will probably just be like, Mike Williamsy
hes got the tools but i just dont know?
id have to watch him in the NFl
MHJ im like lmao no shit
I wanted the pats to draft him honestly
What doesn’t he have in his arsenal for you to question him tho
Like there’s certain things in his game he does better then MHJ
its pure hunchage
Wouldn’t have been the worst move but QB was desperately needed
Yeah but that team has jack diddly
like WR1 Kendrick fucking Bourne and an o-line turntable is just not the formula
given the rest of their draft im like..ok with the maye pick, but im not thrilled unless they actually draft some more high end talent next year
Yea Bourne I’m not high on coming off a torn ACL, Douglas showed flashes and Baker who knows how he ends up
You high on BTJ?
same deal as Nabers
What about Coleman & Worthy
Well we know the defense isn’t an issue, draft a tackle and a couple more WRs and they should be good
Ofc this is banking on whether or not Maye pans out
best case scenario, Coleman is like Devante Parker or some shit
Worthy might be fine but apparantly the Chiefs had a one hit wonder with Tyreek
because every other receiver to come through is either a Mahomes merchant or genuinely shit
He had the best top speed in the gauntlet iirc and has sure hands
I think he’ll work well as an short / intermediate guy, he’s not gonna be someone who’ll burn you downfield if it’s not a contested catch
Def N’Keal vibes from him though
If he’s even 1/3 of what Tyreek is league is cooked imo
top speed sure but his 10 yard split is just middle of the pack, and he had the second slowest 40 time among participating WRs
like, mind you, 6'6 and about 10-20 pounds heavier johnny wilson was faster
but not an ounce of hype about him
so if hes get meh acceleration and isnt really gonna burn a guy ever, what else CAN he do besides be the NFL equal to like Zion.
lobs and jack shit else
I’m honestly not that high on 40 times imo, Puka ran a 4.5 Multiple other cases around the league (Keenan, Kupp, Thomas)
its just clown shit to me to draft coleman when you literally couldve drafted the whole foods version of him in Legette
Def would’ve rather had Mitchell or Ladd but I don’t truly hate the pick given Allen will be throwing to him + he can make anybody look serviceable
Agreed although I think him going to Carolina just made too much sense
even then when you mention some of these slower guys LIKE Kupp, Keenan, im assuming thats Michael Thomas. Theyre all either faster than Coleman, more agile than Coleman, have bigger hands than Coleman and at the bare minimum every single one of them had genuinely historic college careers
the only real exception to that is Kupp, and even then that guy can stop on an atom, something than Coleman has not shown he can do.
so he can get way more seperation because of that alone.
the only thing Coleman has over any of these guys from a prospect view is his jump ball ability
which is pretty much what NKeal Harry's thing was
and he doesnt really have that ability to pull an MHJ and just go "fffffFUCK YOUR PRESS COVERAGE"
So essentially you think he’s ass?
It’s scary how similar they are
Jumpball merchants and both can’t separate
Or most likely to bust out of the first couple WRs selected for better terms
probably lean towards "he ass"
theres a chance because josh allen could just say will him to be good?
but like, lmao I have no faith
Favorites to make it out both the AFC & NFC?
fuck idk man
i can say im fairly sure NOT the ravens, bills, and and dolphins for the AFC and NOT the Buccs, Eagles, Cowboys, and Rams for the NFC
Why not Eagles
You don’t think Jalen’s in that elite echelon?
Or Siranni’s a fraud
its all in the coaching for them. they fucked up and let their good talent go
Talent wise im sure losing the 2nd best center in the NFL hurts among other things
(ragnow ftw)
Wait who walked
They signed Saquon and drafted Mitchell & Dejean to replace slay and bradberry eventually
Unless your referring to Kelce
Ahh
You believe Lamar can lead Baltimore to a chip or?
nope
Steichen and Gannon
the defense instantly shitted its pants and the offense got obviously worse even if it looked better on paper
and honestly, Kellen Moore doesnt move me and Vic Fangio does nothing but make me think lower of the staff
as for Lamar? Dak with a 40 time.
If your team cant beat Mahomes and scrubs with the best defense in the NFL and a top tier offense, youre just not gonna win ever as long as you have to face Mahomes. Honestly, i dont see them beating a healthy Bengals either.
the eagles are just grasping at air at this point for the coaching staff. They hired fucking Matt Patricia to solve their woes last season.
Ah I thought you was referring to this off-season
Agreed on Moore, but why not Fangio?
ANYBODY couldve told them "bro what the fuck are you doing" but they did it anyways because theres just that little talent on the staff right now. It pretty much just feels like Sirianni has become Sisyphus rolling his stone up Tartarus
Foul
Perhaps, but im betting that as time goes on Lamar cope will meet reality.
It actually honestly isn’t that bad of a comparison
Both can’t get it done despite stacked teams, Dak is the better passer tho
I think people give Lamar somewhat of a pass due to him not having a good WR room as of late and 2021’s injury ravaged season for Baltimore
I just cant give Fangio credit for any of his good defenses. Look at like, Brian Flores, making miracles out of old ass Patrick Peterson. Then look at Vic Fangio, who has elite defenses when he has Akiem Hicks, Roquan Smith, Adrian Amos, Khalil Mack, Kyle Fuller, and Eddie Jackson but cant do shit when it comes to having only a couple guys like you saw this year in Miami.
the 2016 bears are an even better example. All the foundations were there for that elite defense in 2018 (had Hicks, Amos, Trevathan, Floyd, and a not quite washed McPhee) but he just..couldnt do shit with it.
Idk I just think Miami failing to be good post January kinda make people iffy on him
It also didn’t help matters that 2 vital anchors on the dline went down late in the season in Jaelan & Chubbs
its an entire 1-1 ratio of Vic Fangio coaching an already elite defense to Vic Fangio being good to me
Like, no shit you have a good defense. Half the guys you field are pro bowlers lmfao
but you see a guy like Ed Donatell get fired for Brian Flores and the defense goes from dogshit to meh instantly, with minimal changes
If they underperform and or are bad this season Sirianni’s 100% gone
Glad to see Flores find success after the debacle he had in miami
Flores got fucked
True but then again he didn’t help matters himself
He couldn’t competently coach an offense and he made Tua look ass
What to get
RIP jacoby jones
I feel you, need the Packers back in action
I saw a clip of the SNF song and everytime I hear it I'm like damn I don't realize how good football is till it's the offseason lmao
I always flip flop NBA or NFL what I like more when one is in full stride
September-Feb NFL, Feb-Sep NBA
I think for me, I love both, but NBA I have been watching since 2010 so I feel like it holds a more special place.. NFL I’m very into now, but I didn’t watch seriously until like 2021.. before then, just playoffs
I think the peaks of the NFL > for me, it also helps GB is in such a great spot rn
Sometimes during the 82 game reg szn there hits a dry spot
oh yea no question, I love both rn for sure 😭
GB is just such a fun team to be a fan of rn
Gotta enjoy these times
ive been watching pack since i could talk
All I ask is for ONE SB 🙏🏽
Can't complain about basically anything lmao
shoulda had several more SBs
Definitely was a football fan before basketball too
I really love this core we have rn I hope they win one
It's rare you accumulate this variety of young talent kinda all at the same time
And nobody is unlikeable
frrr
The vibes are immaculate, and they will only get better as the season goes
November or December until playoffs time for the packers this past season was PEAK
I could not get enough of coverage for the team
December time football really is peak
Playoff ideas are starting to form the games matter so much, it's cold out the vibes r good
Packers preseason is less than 3 weeks away 👀
Love the guy headed forward?
Well obviously but do you think he’ll break the market?
I mean he will get paid a lot
As he should
Idk anything about NFL financials compared to the NBA, I assume since many of our guys r still young and without larger contracts the sooner the better to get competitive
Yea thankfully GB doesn’t have many people to pay, most if not all of the WR room are on rookie contracts
Them and Houston have the brightest futures
Stef and Mixon might be washed but 3 headed monster at least for sure
Nfc north will be intense this year
I'm excited for nfl to come back believe it or not
Vikings and bears will both be ass
Detroit and GB run that division now
It pains me to say it, but the bears may be dangerous this year
Maybe not winning the division dangerous, but definitely could steal a game or two from better teams
It's possible
no they wont
They have the pieces if Caleb plays well
But it's the bears so Caleb won't be good
still same shitty playobook
same facilities
packers will always own that bum franchise
Didn’t they fire their OC?
If Caleb does manage to be good they can be ok
it doesnt matter
theyll never make a good coaching hire either
caleb is gonna take a year or 3
Mitch looked good as a rookie before completely falling off, maybe they’ll get a good year out of Caleb too!
I mean one would hope so
That’s a stacked WR room for a rookie to be walking into and the defense is alright
I think the bears will be tough. They had won of the better defenses and have an offense that continues to improve on paper. The coaching concerns me but I could see the bears being a solid 7 seed. We nearly swept the lions last year with fields and getsy
Oline improved immensely last year. Should be better this year too
Lions 2 seed
Packers 5 seed
Bears 7 seed
Vikings ☠️
I can see it. The south isn't very good neither is the west
still, theyll get more wins
It won't happen 3 teams
We do have a potentially great division tho IF the bears can eventually get good
Big IF
Bears also have one of the easiest schedules
3/7 is possible. I think recently there was 3/7
i dont think theres ever been 3 teams from the same division in to make the playoffs
west is still good, niners are the best team in the nfc, rams will prob get in and the hawks are at least kinda competent
no contract extension and they’re working out quarterbacks. it’s so over. this is sean clifford’s team now 💔
Quoting Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet)
Free agent QB Jake Fromm worked out for the #Packers today, source said. The former #Commanders, #Giants and #Bills backup would be a potential pre-camp addition.
lol
were getting jake fromm state farm?
jake dog food
AURA OFF THE CHARTS
He copying stroud fr
So then wtf was the point of showing up to begin with if you didn’t intend on practicing
Attention?
being with the team I suppose, making a stand
being ready once its signed
could be a lot of things
not practicing becuz of this isn't new, lets just get him paid already
its cause you only get fined if you dont show up to the camp
as long as jlo's there, they wont fine him even if he doesnt practice
Yeah I’m not mad about any of it
clubhouse reasons and fine reasons
all the dudes get why he's doing it
so he still gets to hang out with his bros
Have you guys been enjoying your team's training camp
no
yea
jlo was expected and isn't a big deal
reports on actual player play wise are good
He reminds me of wentworth miller for some reason
man's about to break out of fox river fr
honestly would've been a top show all time if it ended there or with like two more episodes
still love the rest of it don't get me wrong
lmaooo
Thankful and excited to join the @BigTenNetwork squad! See yall on the sidelines soon 😁🏈

Bro… I thought it said Jordan Love for a second
You sending this made me think it was Love for a second
Last Thursday without football till February
Let’s go! Did not know that!
gettin 1 quarter (probably) of caleb next week
and then hard knocks coming soon after 👀
Will be in dc so won't be able to watch 😢
Love finally got paid
Let’s go!
Packers got their guy for the next 15 years 😢
Not that long
Love going to be 26 in November
He's gonna be torching the bears when he's 40

Nah
But caleb will be cooking
Hope so. Not too sure about this coaching staff
I trust poles and the roster itself but I don't have too much faith in the scheme
If you guys disappoint this season I think eberflus gone probably
that is how it goes
draft first round qb
head coach gets fired after rough season
first round qb has to learn a new system again
team struggles
qb gets cut/traded as a scapegoat for the coach - "he's just not the right guy for my system"
draft first round qb
head coach gets fired
The chicago cycle
@sacred burrow Am I wrong for kinda thinking GB was backed into a corner with this contract?
I mean technically yea, but it's not the worst corner to be backed into
In theory it's ridiculous to pay somebody for 1/2 a season of play, but in practice it's the only thing we could do...and everybody is confident Love will be great
I doubt the FO is going "man I just don't think he's gonna be good enough but whatever we have to do this"
Team and organization loves him
Yea like no doubt in my mind at all that Love is a top 10-12 QB at worst but giving him the most expensive QB contract ever for essentially what was half a season of good play is bonkers to me
I get not wanting to get on the QB carousel but man are they banking Love continues to put up numbers
I mean he was a top 3 QB for 1/2 a season, the odds he regresses into 10-12 is low...like the positives outweighs the negatives hard
We were working with the youngest offensive core in the league
All the WRs will get better, bringing in Jacobs...Love is in the ultimate position to thrive
It makes sense itd take 1/2 a season or some time to get going
We’ll see how the season pans out but as it stands I think I would have about 5-6 QBs comfortably ahead of him
If he's the 6th best QB, the contract is totally fine
His 5th year option was picked up right? I would’ve reckoned GB asks him to replicate the season he had once more, so his contract is 1000% justified But then again there’s also massive risk in that potentially shunning Love and making him even more expensive then what he once was, so it does make sense for them to lock him up now
Absolutely
contract aside hes easy to get behind, teammates love him
Rodgers wouldnt have shown up
it isn't really "half a season" though
Acting like we weren't a better defense away from a potential sb appearance his first season starting
ong
so the context is: first year starter, the offense is entirely first or second year players except for the RB room and... center?
and we have
2 great games, 3 bad games, a good game, 4 mediocre games, and then literally a top 3 qb for the remainder of the season
like you wanna tell me having davante adams (or a receiver more of a veteran than romeo doubs) wouldn't have made a difference in the first half of the year
that too, we put up a better fight against the niners than the lions did and had beaten the lions on thanksgiving
I believe we would've beat the Lions but no game is a gimme and the Lions like to be good against us every now and again so I couldn't say with certainty
absolutely not a gimme
but if we had pulled it off against the niners? our pass rush was feeling pretty good and goff would have gotten similarly rattled
they didnt pick up loves 5th yr option anyways, they reworked his deal to give him less guaranteed but with more incentives
and yeah if we waited another year we'd have had to pay him more, he'd have to play like a bottom 5 QB for the entire season for us not to pay him
it only saves you money, anyone that's "a franchise qb" is going to be getting this kinda money
lawrence played his entire rookie contract and has as many playoff wins as love, got the same amount of money
tua has 0 playoff wins in his entire rookie contract, got approximately the same amount of money
Lawrence ($55MM/5 years)
Love ($55MM/4 years)
Tagovailoa ($53MM/4 years)
Goff ($53MM/4 years)
Cousins ($45MM/4 years)
recent qb contracts
out of all these i'm absolutely taking love
lawrence frankly i don't think is that good
tua is carried by having the best skill position rooms in football
goff doesn't perform well under pressure or out of system
cousins is old and coming off an achilles
One can argue these were overpays tho especially in Lawrence’s case
He hasn’t done shit since he stepped foot in the league
it's not an overpay though, it's the market dictating what a franchise qb gets
it's just always record setting because the cap is going up so much
Eh idk
Dak and Love at least proved their extensions, Lawrence regressed quite a bit from the season before and the FO decided to offer him an extension
i agree that lawrence is overpaid tbh
but the jags are desperate to have something good that they're willing to say he's a top 5 qb
Top 5 qb is insane 😭
Top 10 for him next season is very likely
Basically
Wow.
Williams,Kmet,Odunze, and DJ Moore’s total salary: 50-52M annually.
Jordan Love salary: 55M annually.
lol
now wait until he hears how much our WR room costs
Bit high ngl
What's worse is Jefferson at 18
Pretty low
Ik they rate games played highly into the equation tho
Don't players vote for it tho?
if its just players then Jefferson is ridiculously low
if other ppl vote and they take into factor games played which they def do its fine
I feel like it is players only but they probably also run the original list through some algorithm that automatically knocks people down based on the number of games they missed last season
cause idk why players wouldn’t think he wasn’t still a top 10 player just cause he missed half a season, he still managed to go over 1k yds too
But not for rodgers
Xavier Worthy against press.
I love this clip
He should watch devonta smith
Crazy how texans drafted one of the smallest wrs and one of the smallest edges in 2023 and they were both pretty good

new kickoff rule is about to debut
its kinda ugly
yep
you can do onsides but you have to notify the other team of it
also lame
no more random offsides to start a game or half. like that iconic superbowl moment
No Fun League
thats stupid
supposedly this kickoff will lead to more returns and less injuries
thats like telling basketball that tips are... a coin flip now
Texans jerseys r clean
wdym
what happen to cj
they arent gonna play him much at all in the preseason
this is also like the "extra" preseason game
ugh
for some reason i thought they shortened preseason
and that oplayers would still play em
gotta dig thru a month of this
Derrick Henry is a Raven
wut
every time I hear that im like damn
crazy
Saquon is an Eagle
thats another big change
Bears got torched
commentators more hype for the upcoming kickoff then the TD
im with them
yea announcers are fighting for their jobs now
never really cared for joe buck and troy aikman
but their voices r imprinted in my head
Nantz and Romo + Tirico and Collinsworth
🐐
Buck and Troy simply call the game with no style. Nothing special but serviceable
Gus Johnson is really fun, but ive only really seen him do college
Nantz and Romo are the fun team
Tirico and Collinsworth to me represent the "big game" commentators
Exactly
I think theyre my favorite
Collinsworth is the voice of football for me
absolutely
supposedly lots of ppl dislike him a lot
ig he doesnt really bring much extra...I just cant imagine anybody else doin it
how am I just hearing Tank Dell got shot and was healthy a week later
it felt like he was calling all the afc south divisional matchups a couple of years ago but yeah he only does college stuff now
love the clips where he just yells random words
We lost 😢
But davis mills is him
According to NFL players Lamar Jackson > Mahomes
CTE League is getting out of hand
in fairness
lamar won mvp
but yeah the top 100 continues to be a popularity contest
And tyreek #1 😭
Lamar and Tyreek were better than Mahomes in the regular season which was the measure
Tyreek was so good that at one point people thought a WR would actually receive the MVP
Top 100 voter fatigue
Tyreek didn't even win opoy tho
Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins reached agreement on a restructured contract worth $90 million over the next three years that includes $65 million guaranteed, per me and @Marcel_LJ.
This brings the four-year total of fully guaranteed money to $106.5 million, the most ever for any receiver. No new years were added to the deal. The deal ...
The most meh mvp season I’ve seen in a while ngl
His passing numbers weren’t great compared to years past mvps
Seems like Aiyuk is going to the Browns or Pats if he wants out
Pitbull stadium 😭
Probs banking on the name drawing in extra attention
Excited for this!
couldn't happen to a nicer guy
Watson is so washed. Missing out that year did a number on him
Here’s something rad: New sensors on the footballs will whistle when the pressure is correct. If you don’t hear a whistle your ball security needs adjusting.
Hope they’re more accurate than my tire sensors
?
Don’t think there’s much of a question
That is not what you like to see at all
Seems a bit fishy Mr Williams
caleb you paint your nails you're part of what that dude considers woke 😭
He considers the whole NFL woke like
fellas is it woke to watch 22 men run into each other for hours at a time
But the pants
Sorry token straight woman
mlb pants are ultra woke
Had to
i'm bi so we're speaking the same language
wow
Pain
got their aiyuk replacement, nice
I think just chosen Anderson but they calling him a vet haha
it's robbie chosen now
robbie anderson --> chosen anderson (jersey #1) --> robbie chosen (presumably because he realized chosen anderson won't make his jersey say chosen 1)
They're trying to get sutton from broncos
Valid
colts are taking down the 2014 afccg participant banner 😞
Wasn’t he WR2 last year
That ankle injury just cooked em
That looked a little

He just made a really nice throw again
I saw a Colts jet hangered at the appleton airport last night 🤔
Caleb is him. If we find a way to mess this up...
Chicago is cursed for qbs
I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s him just yet until reg seasons here
Pickett looked goated last preseason, come start of the season he was dogshit
I always love the unbridled optimism of a bears fan
He has the talent which is what I referred to. Good field vision and decision-making, big arm, good accuracy, doesn't hold the ball as long as fields did, is mobile enough. Unlike our last three qbs, Fields, Mitch, and Cutler, Caleb is extremely well rounded so if for some reason we can't make it work with him, I'm gonna be upset lol. Whether his talent directly translates to the nfl reg season is a matter of time
The only thing I can do as a bears fan
Yea kid definitely looks the part can’t lie
But I have doubts he can overcome the atrocity of an organization that is currently the bears. We’ll see next month
Yeah, there are systemic trends within organizations that people fail to take into consideration. We are under the same underwhelming ownership so I wouldn't be surprised
look away, giants fans
he wouldnt be taking a snap out here today if he had been here? wut
yea that sounds worse
basically "we good without u bae"
"you're not missed, it doesn't put any pressure on us"
joe douglas outside of the 2022 draft
from what i've heard reddick's
agent was like "yeah my guy will show up while negotiating"
but that may just be jets propaganda
Wow JJ McCarthy needs knee surgery already
He had knee soreness over the weekend then took an MRI and now needs surgery
yeah wtf
It's a torn meniscus
Yeah was just gonna post
Fuck that's so lame
Dammit, that sucks so much
damn it sounded like he’d just be limited for a couple weeks not even 24 hrs ago and now he needs full blown surgery, awful news
Poor typical Vikings
When can they ever have nice things
Excluding lucking into Jettas
#Vikings QB JJ McCarthy could be out 4-6 weeks or 4-6 months, depending on which meniscus surgery he undergoes.
Regardless, Sam Darnold now has his best shot at becoming the next Geno Smith or Baker Mayfield.
