I am relatively new and never watched Drive to Survive which I think is what most people would reccomend...I just watched races with friends they explained everything to me..then picked a favorite team (by the color of the cars) and went from there
if you cant watch with anyone, then maybe a youtube video quickly explaining the rules, and 100000% watch next weeks race..if you like it then watch DTS before the next season starts
