how much do you pay
As a full time developer, 70$ monthly. When donations start coming along, development team will also get 25%. The monthly pay will rise, once we start pulling numbers in down the road, after launch.
70 per month for implementing what?
70 ?
Don't pay monthly. Pay for the job done.
I am personally not interested in monthly pay in such a environment. Put the task up, put requirements, the scripter will tell you the price and you both agree on it.
Pay 1st half for the job to begin with (before task starts) and then the 2nd half of payment after the task is finished.
That's the way it should be.
I was looking for a long-term developers.
That’s why I offered monthly. If the price was inexpensive, we can negotiate.
You should adapt free-lancing style.
- Put the task requirements.
- The Scripter is going to discuss with you the task, tell you the price.
- You both agree.
- Pay up-front 1st half of it.
- Let the Scripter do the job
- Pay 2nd half of the agreed price.
If you need Continuous Development style, then $70 is not enough. You could consider that AFTER all the tasks are done, and gamemode is up & running.

In other words: maintenance of the Scripters job is not the same as the task you want him to do for you. Both should be paid on different terms.
How else do I describe a whole server being scripted? Roleplay. It’s clear to see, what all needs to be done.
This is how I work.
RolePlay servers are usually very complex to do.
You need to split the task, as much as possible. Into logical segments. For example:
Car system.
a) Can player enter any car? If so, what happens when he gets in?
b) How player can buy a vehicle?
c) Is there any key-system for the vehicles?
d) Is key an item?*
-
- if key is an item, then you should require an Item system first. Because Car system is going to rely on item system.
What do you need to create an Item system... [...] specify types, how are items created in the world etc.
Ok, I will post all that soon.
$70/mo. fulltime?? That would be less than $.50 per hour (assuming it‘s a 40hr week) - in most countries illegal.
Talk with a @steel crest he is good and loves cash!!!
You want to offer at least $800
I do, but 70$/mo ?
