It's the music labels which are chokeholding Spotify, there's a reason they've been trying to jump boats from music to podcasts to god knows what now. I can bring up Spotify's yearly revenue and it'll show they've been at a loss for the past few years now. How would you guys be able to navigate this when even these large companies are struggling to work out profitable contracts with record labels?

No offence, but there's not really any way you could of expanded as a music bot during that time (that I can think of). Unless you were to essentially do what you did now, acquiring your own labels and making a complete standalone app separate from discord.

This is very true. The only way you can expand beyond a music bot was to ditch the discord bot identity. The way to expand in the music industry is to acquire labels, but acquiring labels locked within a Discord bot is way too limiting to compete with the likes of Spotify or other subscriptions.

Once you enter the music label world you compete with titans clashing for songs and contracts with the major label companies, how do you expect yourselves to come out on top with limitations in every way on your users, when services like Spotify put no limitations on its own users? The path of Rythm in the past, at least in my eyes, was the ability to add and play songs for free and listen with friends.

Compare that to modern Rythm: the whole app works more like a music streaming service and not a place where users can add whatever they so please from Youtube for example. Why would users come to you guys for this service, which has limited songs, unable to play songs solo, or even search in a functional way, when they can pay for Spotify, start a group listening session, add songs to that, have a much, much larger library, and then listen solo?

The market this is trying to tap into is more like the Apple Music Voice subscription, which was only accessible through Apple Siri voice commands, and even that was better because it had access to Apple Music's full library. Even then that service floundered and many people didn't buy it because of the limitations. I'd argue these limitations are even bigger, given that A) you have to be in a Discord voice chat (unless you create a seperate app which means you truly enter the battle of music streaming services) and B) you cannot even listen solo.
