That's beside the point. Also this was before dropz was deprecated. Why does the mod need to be server sided in order to function that way? I mean we have a "Item physics" option already why does it need to be server sided to know it's coming into contact with a block?

I think it has to do with how it’s rendered, Dropz directly interacts with the server while this mods just some shader magic. It was probably explained in the original post but I’m not sure
