Dropz makes use of Rayon, a physics api for minecraft, in order to make item drops physics-based. That means that any item thrown onto the ground will now simply come to rest as a physic object instead of behaving like a vanilla item.

Some people do read it and choose to ignore it because the “No Server Sided Features” part of it is infuriating because they never say that they can’t do it or that it’s impossible
They just say they won’t do it which makes it seem like they care more about continuity than just having features wanted by the community & having it as a separate menu that’s locked off until opened via config

Absolutely love this mod and I’m not hating on it but that is one of the downsides in my opinion 🤷‍♂️
