#Grass physics

you could add grass to dynamic blocks already
yes
you can add that already
it's just not interactive that much as it's just 1 block and you need at least 2 blocks to be interactive
yk that this channel is stolen content
also that is blender animation
so not it is not possible
plus in future be aware that anything that "steveee" is posting is purely stolen content from other creators
do not support them at all
Yeah i know i hate him i just cant find the origanal content due to copycats
Why do people care
Yknow, that is the exact opposite thing to say, I mean isn’t that partly the idea behind the water physics? I mean it looks like some stuff out of a blender animation, not Minecraft.
I mean just like the water physics, it probably wouldn’t be as detailed as a blender animation, but even just thinking about the way the mod is now, it wouldn’t be impossible.
Hell, before water physics from this mod, most people would probably say the same thing about water physics in Minecraft, “it’s just a blender animation, that’s not possible”
That’s what I love about the physics in this mod, it feels like the crazy stuff that people do in blender, but it’s actually there in game
Because stealing someone’s work & calling it yours is wrong
^
I can’t see where he calls it his own. Low effort content isn’t a crime lol
It’s calling it your own when you just reupload it to your own channel, providing no evidence that it is not yours, and providing absolutely no credit to the original person.
They are being the person who said the joke but louder, someone put effort into the content, just for them to be stolen and reuploaded, and likely over shined by a channel filled with stolen content.
As far as I can tell he’s not reuploading videos, people are mad Bc hes downloading their stuff and showing it off
Personally I don’t think posting a resource pack on a YouTube channel counts as claiming it as your own. It seems to me that people are just frustrated by the low effort content
Hi yes, if you put hours, maybe days into making something? And someone claims it as their own and makes money off it
Wouldn’t you be upset too?
Because it is more then just resource packs
It’s data packs too, and both of them you don’t always just make in a few minutes
This would be like me claiming I made the physics mod, and trying to make money off of it
Am I missing something? Did he say like “look at my new resource pack” in the description? His videos that I’ve seen are posted with #memes and don’t have a description, he’s not claiming anything
Maybe he actually did steal something but I can’t find a real example of it, it’s just people mad that he got views off a piece of free downloadable content
A some of his titles are formatted in ways to make it seem like he was the makes.
or here
this video right here

And you have respectable channels, like mumbo jumbo, who have used this content, and actually provide credit
it is somewhat of a steal of one of the videos from the original creator's (McMakistein) aswell, using a similar title, and the same datapack
they have gone away from misleading titles due to backlash
and deleted videos
I agree it’s good etiquette to credit people but that mcmakinstein guy doesn’t own the intellectual rights to that piston trick lol. You can use it in a video and not credit him, you didn’t commit a crime
sorry that was a misunderstanding on my end, I actually thought he used the piston datapack, didn't fully notice
But he has been caught using datapacks (that aren't easy to just up and make complex ones that give the "cursed" minecraft feel.) Crediting no one, and just going on with their day.
If a datapack creator feels the need to put stuff into it to blacklist steveee, that shows you how often it was a reoccuring issue
Ok I haven’t heard about the last part but I think its an interesting discussion about how valid a data pack is as intellectual property. Especially if someone is just showing footage of themselves playing with it and not actually claiming it as their own. As far as I know data pack creators aren’t entitled to any profits or anything and basically are only protected from others explicitly claiming their work
I am not really willing to continue this arguement, mainly because you've just kinda just "ok but why does it matter" to every responce.
but just because they are not entitled to anything, doesn't make what steveee does any less of a dick move.
Well I think I’ve successfully shown that it doesn’t really matter lol
And yea like it said I agree that it’s bad etiquette to not credit people, but it’s clearly not a crime when it’s free downloadable stuff off the internet or ideas he clearly found on Reddit or something. I think the original sentiment “anything steveee is posting is purely stolen content, do not support them at all” is just a knee jerk reaction to the low effort content and not actually based on anything related to content being stolen
all you've shown is you don't give a shit about how people treate other people's content.
Actually I think there’s a word for what I’m describing here
Meme
no.
Oops ok worth a try
Stevee is horrible
if you do low effort content you're as bad as reaction content streamers on twitch
