wait, hydropump stopped working too
So clearly something weird with rivers.
I did find weird my Industry looked worse a few turns ago, thought it was cuz i had dropped out from jubilant
Irrigation Channels (River Improvs) not working
You need dams on rivers to keep rivers rivers
Otherwise they will dry up after some time
@velvet tendon
Check if river is river first
Stream doesnt count as river
NOT A BUG - Irrigation Channels (River Improvs) not working
So does it work or no?
You gotta do some experiments with the rivers, i always never know where will be river or stream
Even with those icons
Yeah the rivers had become streams
Managed to fix it by building 3 dams at once spaced to revitalize the whole thing
I see zero reason for that to be a thing
What's the mechanic here? What causes rivers to change? And how do you know if rivers are no longer rivers? And how do you change them back to rivers?
For as long as you have dams on river it stays river, rest tbh idk, cause ive not been playing long enough
And theres none rivers faction
Ok so after some practice, if you make dam all things on top of it till the waterfall are going to be a river tiles
And when theres no river down the dam you can make another one and its going to become river, which is interesting
What??? River can dry??? I haven't noticed that and i have playd 2000turns, there should be a Tutorial about this
I agree it doesnt explain well sometimes. I have to randomly find the solutions depending on what kind of matches you're playing. But yes they dry out. You can build a dam I think to preserve the water
It kinda explained in damb tooltips
But not enough
Bumping this, it seems Hydropump isnt working, but Irrigation Channel is. As seen in this Aspect game, where I can buy out a Hydropump, but it does not affect the Farm next to a Stream (and Streams are a River class)
I still dont get why have this mechanic. It is just an annoyance
