Thread so i dont clog up the channel

If you'd like to know the step-by-step process (spoilered incase you want to try it beforehand):
||
Rely on Resin for oxygen filters
Look for power items + 3 aluminum and/or portable smelter in wrecks
Use Power cells to recharge your backpack
Power cells also refill batteries in your backpack
Print & place a Small Printer on the ground
Place the Battery & connect it to the printer
Print a Rail Post Bundle, Trailer, & Medium Printer
Connect the Battery to the Trailer
Place the Medium Printer on the trailer
Print a Railcar and place it on a Rail Post
Connect the Rail Post to the Trailer
Place a Medium Generator on the Trailer
Put the Medium Printer on the Rail Car
Print a Furnace, then put it on the Rail Car

Rail Car setup like this gives you access to a Tier 3 Slot, and a good power source, so you can use to smelt ores, print a shuttle, centrifuge, etc

Consider...starting a save with the same limitations, but with a Thumpr to walk around with ๐Ÿค” the top can hold a med printer

#

Ope nvm, confirmed the top med slot does NOT count as a 2x platform to print from even with proper height soil to catch it

So it's actually better to not carry anything around so u can more quuckly cover lots of ground and to find 3 aluminum or a portable smelter

If and when the game implements fauna beyond Galastropods, there will be ecological implications with not just removing the natural flora but also fully terraforming the planet to a broken or artificial shape. We've already left trash everywhere. Do we need to carve up every planet for natural resources in the process and leave it unliveable for what lives there? ๐Ÿค”

Even just for aesthetic purposes, it feels like the next ideal mod tool for the terrain manipulator would be an "artificial only" limitation, where astroneers can only add UP TO the existing terrain rather than disturb the naturally existing terrain, perhaps with a toggle setting allowing you to only remove what was placed by your character
