It would be amazing if there were some way that we could create metal wires and leather cords for use in weaving. My preference in creating woven items is to have a material to form the base object, like leather cords, strips of cloth, or wires. Then I add ornamentations or accents after that.
We have the ability to create strips of cloth with the ribbonator, though an additional ability to create them as actual strips of cloth instead of ribbons would be nice. That way I could weave strips of dark sapphire silk to make a loosely woven bracelet of dark sapphire silk, or the like.
However, so far as I know we don't have a way to create leather cords and metal wires, which would also be very nice. I'm not entirely sure how we would go about it, except maybe a new mold for the fullmetal crucible to make the wires.
