Hello!

Gentleman Hoorne asked me to offer up a place for people in Kraken's Fall who want to advertise events at the Night Market -- be it a single person fishing or a group looking for role playing, and everything in-between!

Feel free to please use this thread to discuss the goings-on in Kraken's Fall's latest area, with an eye to generating some turnout and making your gatherings that much more of a success!

Please enjoy our lovely canopied walk, its curious offerings, and the even more curious people who frequent it.

I will start things off! Tonight, Purple Kraken's mobile tavern; Red Wolf Distillery will be carrying fine liquors, tacky sweaters (for the upcoming Ugly Thrakmas Sweater Party at Purple Kraken) and kraken-themed goods!!!!

Holiday Night Market will open at 9:30pm EST this evening! If you are selling, feel free to set up 30 minutes before then!

So at the last two markets I lead a tour of them so no ones stall would get overlooked. I think tonight, since Yardie has been kind enough to set up locations and a map of the vendors for everyone, people can wander about at their own pace. This should lessen screen scroll and allow for more RP. If it ends up not being popular this way, we can always revert back to the tours for the next market. And remember, vendor set up starts at 9:00, shopping opens at 9:30! Please give the vendors their half hour to set up before you start buying all their stuff, LOL! Thank you and see you all tonight!

It currently has the following settings.
Trail: sinuous purple
Color: sparkling amethyst
Sky Description: A scintillation of vivid purple light unfurls resplendently into a majestic purple kraken, a glittering golden mug of ale hoisted aloft in each of its writhing arms.  As the sparkles begin to drift down from their place in the sky, the arms wave and wobble like drunkards navigating a particularly steep staircase.```
We now have an official firework for when the Night Market opens to shoppers.  Thanks to @visual pelican for his creativity.  This also functions as a drunken bat signal for my tavern.

Materials Needed: Burner, skillet, and your culinary creativity.  Extras may be provided to use for the contest, but please try to be prepared.

Rounds: Two - Kraken's Fall Taste of the Sea (Fish) & Kraken Kleaver (Butchery)

Rules: Chefs will be provided with a selection of proteins.  They must use those proteins, foragables, and grocery items from the pantry for their meals.  Foragables will be used from the Folly's vast amount of herbs, fruits, and vegetables, and those in the grocer.  They will also be given silvers to purchase bonuses and/or sabotages.

Chefs will have X amount of time to develop their ideas, and before they cook, will be given the incentive to boost or sabotage someone's dish.  From there, chefs will prepare their dish.

From there, the chefs will present their dishes to the three judges, who will then holistically consider presentation, ingredients used, and taste to determine the winner. As there will be two rounds, there will be two winners.

Can you rise to the occasion and earn the Night Market's Best Chef title?  Or will you surrender to the pressure of Kutthroat Kitchen?```
